The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Tral area of the district. The operation was going on till last reports came in. Indian police arrested a youth in the area. »

Srinagar, September 24 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a prominent lawyer, Advocate Babar Qadri, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Hawal area of Srinagar, today.

Advocate Babar Qadri was shifted to Soura hospital, Srinagar soon after he was attacked. However, Qadri was declared brought dead by the doctors at the hospital.

Babar Qadri had once loudly chanted Pakistan Zindabad and Hindustan Murdabad in a TV debate. He was a staunch critic of BJP policies regarding Kashmir and had attended many conferences and seminars stressing the need to resolve the Kashmir dispute as per UN resolutions and Kashmiris’ aspirations. »

Srinagar, September 24 (KMS) In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have hailed Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for raising the Kashmir dispute during the ongoing 75th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The Turkish President in his address to the ongoing 75th session of the UN General Assembly through video-link termed the Kashmir dispute as a burning issue and called for resolving it through dialogue within the framework of the UN resolutions and in line with the expectations of the Kashmiri people. »

Islamabad, September 24 (KMS): The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL), Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, has welcomed the speech of Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on Kashmir, Palestine, Islamophobia and other burning world topics during the ongoing session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Srinagar, September 24 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India’s notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted raids in different areas of Srinagar city.

The NIA sleuths, accompanied by the personnel of paramilitary CRPF and police, raided the houses of Zahoor Ahmad Butt in Wazir Bagh, Bashir Ahmed Lone in Hokersar and Arif Ahmed Misger and Fazal-ul-Haq in Chattabal areas of Srinagar.
