Washington, September 26 (KMS): The Secretary General of World Kashmir Awareness Forum, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai has hailed the address of the Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan in the United Nations General Assembly.

Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai in a statement issued in Washington said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s appeal to the UN to persuade India, “to agree to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people,” is the true reflection of the desire and wishes of the people of Kashmir. »

Srinagar, September 26 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum (JKYSF) leader, Zubair Hassan Mir, visited Pahalgam area of Islamabad district, today, and expressed solidarity with the family of a martyred youth, Umar Khan.

United Nations, September 26 (KMS): Pakistan has asserted that the territory of Jammu and Kashmir is not a part of the India – it has never been, nor will it ever be – and that the Indian government is resorting to the worst state terrorism against the oppressed people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan Mission’s First Secretary, Muhammad Zulqarnain Chheena, said this while delivering the first Right of Reply during the 75th session of the UN General Assembly. He was responding to the false claims of Indian representative that Jammu and Kashmir is India’s “integral part”.

The Pakistani diplomat said, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir will be free one day. “Jammu & Kashmir is not a part of India: it never was and it never will be. The state of Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognised disputed territory as decreed by the Security Council,” he said. »

Srinagar, September 26 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, prominent leader of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), Dr Ghulam Rasool Ghulam, passed away in Srinagar, yesterday.

A large number of people, Hurriyat leaders and activists including Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Abdul Ahad Parra and Feroz Ahmad Khan participated in his funeral.

Meanwhile, the JKML leaders including Ishtiyaq Hameed expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. They prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant the aggrieved family the courage to bear this loss with patience.

Islamabad, September 26 (KMS): A protest demonstration was held under the auspices of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, today.

The demonstration was held against the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, hours before his address to the UN General Assembly, today.

The Hurriyat leaders in their speeches on the occasion said that Narendra Modi was pursuing a policy of genocide of Kashmiris and the Indian forces were involved in the extra-judicial killing of innocent Kashmiris in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. »
