Srinagar, September 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops conducting a cordon and search operation in Sangam area of Islamabad district came under attack on Tuesday.

The attack was carried out when the troops of Indian Army’s 3 Rashtriya Rifles were engaged in the operation in Marahama area of the district.

Amnesty InternationalNew Delhi, September 29 (KMS): Reprisals from the Modi-led fascist Indian government over findings on arbitrary detentions and the use of excessive force and torture by troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and questions over investigations in incidents like Delhi riots have forced the Amnesty International to halt its operations in India.

The watchdog has also said that the Modi government is indulging in a “witch-hunt of human rights organisations”. The Amnesty says its bank accounts have been frozen and it’s been forced to lay off staff in the country, and suspend all its campaign and research work.

“We are facing a rather unprecedented situation in India.
