Srinagar, October 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a Kashmiri youth was martyred in the indiscriminate firing of the personal security officers of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker, following an attack on his house in Ganderbal district, on Tuesday evening.

Unidentified gunmen attacked the house of a BJP worker in Nunar area of the district. The personnel security officers of the BJP worker resorted to indiscriminate firing resulting in the killing of a youth. »

Geneva, October 06 (KMS): Speakers during a debate at the UN Human Rights Council has brought the attention of the world highest human rights body towards the simmering situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and rising trend of xenophobia, cast system, intolerance in India.

They said that the BJP government influenced by Hindu supremacist ideology was stoking communal discord besides using its repressive state apparatus to crush voices of dissent in occupied Kashmir.

Taking part in the debate held under the agenda item 3, the representative of World Muslim Congress, Raja Saeeduz Zaman, International Muslim Women Union (IMWU), Warda Najum, Anna Lorenda African Human Rights Activist and others called upon the international community particularly the HRC to hold Indian government accountable for the rights violations committed by Indian troops in Kashmir. »

Srinagar, October 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has said that Kashmir freedom struggle has reached its pinnacle where the dispute needs to be resolved in accordance with the wishes of Kashmiri people through a sustained and time-bound dialogue process in the light of UN resolutions.

Professor Abdul Ghani Butt while interacting with groups of people in different areas of Bandipore and Baramulla said now the whole world had accepted the grave situation in South Asia arising out of the Kashmir dispute as three nuclear powers—Pakistan, India and China — are now directly involved with the dispute. »

The troops cordoned off the Heff Khuri village in Zainapora area of district and launched searches. The operation continued till last reports came in. »

Islamabad, October 06 (KMS): Speakers at a function called upon the United Nations to stop India from taking measures to change the demography of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The demand was raised at a function organized in Islamabad to commemorate the founding day of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League. It was presided over by the Convener of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat AJK-chapter, Ghulam Muhammad Safi. Member Parliament and Kashmir Committee, Noreen Farooq Ibrahim was the chief guest of the function. »

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said that not only Pakistan but the global community has also joined the voices to express resentment on Indian brutalities in IIOJK, which testifies the fact that India’s being ‘largest democracy’ mantra has failed to influence the world when it comes to its crimes against humanity in occupied Kashmir. On the contrary, all freedom-loving people around the globe are firmly standing with the struggling Kashmiris.

The report mentioned that a major policy shift vis-à-vis Kashmir was witnessed globally after BJP led Indian government took August 5 illegal actions to harm IIOJK’s special status. The action was condemned worldwide. »

Jammu, October 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum, Devinder Singh Behl, has said that peace in South Asia will remain a distant dream till the settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with relevant UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Devinder Singh Behl while talking to party members in Jammu said that during the last three decades, Indian forces massacred unarmed Kashmiris in Jammu and Kashmir. Referring to the killing of three Kashmiri workers in a fake encounter in Shopian on July 18, he said that till date no action has been taken against the Indian troops involved in the killing. »

Srinagar, October 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters have appeared in various areas of Srinagar and adjoining districts condemning the Modi-led fascist Indian government’s social, political, cultural and religious onslaught against the Kashmiri people.

The posters displayed on houses, walls and electric poles in the streets of the occupied territory said that India had declared a war against the Kashmiris.

Local collaborators of Hindu extremist organizations Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and
Bharatiya Janata Party have been labeled as traitors in the posters, pasted by Warseen-e-Shuhada, Jammu and Kashmir Students and Youth Forum and other Hurriyat organizations. »
