Srinagar, October 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that every conscientious human being must raise voice in support of the besieged Kashmiri people to mitigate their sufferings.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said, supporting the beleaguered Kashmiris is to support humanity. He said, it is time to stand up and raise voice for the voiceless people of IIOJK before it is too late. »

Srinagar, October 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmed, has said that India is imposing various laws and forcibly snatching lands from locals for settling Indian Hindus to change the Muslim majority into a minority in the territory.

Molvi Bashir Ahmed in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Kashmiris would continue their resistance against change in the demographic composition of IIOJK, issuance of domicile certificates to non-residents, construction of hundreds of thousands of houses for non-locals, massacre of youth and other human rights violations in the territory. He maintained that this struggle would continue until the last Indian soldier leaves IIOJK. »

Srinagar, October 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has reiterated its call to release of all illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails of India and the territory.

Hurriyat forum in a statement issued in Srinagar said that thousands of Kashmiris including Hurriyat leaders and activists were languishing in different Indian jails. It said the Kashmiri detainees are neither being presented in courts nor are any legal proceedings initiated. »

Srinagar, October 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has paid rich tributes to three Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Sugan areas of Shopian district, yesterday.

The DFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian forces, deployed in length and breadth of the occupied territory, were engaged in genocide of the Kashmiri people. Cordon and search operations, arbitrary arrests, extrajudicial killings and forced disappearance and killing of youth are part of the grand conspiracy aimed at changing the demography of the territory, he said. »

Srinagar, October 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami (TWI), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), has said that Narendra Modi’s fascist Indian government has launched a series of large-scale colonial measures to convert the Muslim majority in the territory into a minority.

Washington D.C, October 08 (KMS): The principle of ‘right of self-determination’ and its applicability to the 72-year-old Kashmir conflict needs to be considered during the 75th session of the Fourth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly that is taking place between October 08 to November 10, 2020 at its headquarters in New York. The committee will discuss and deliberate the issues related to international conflicts and decolonization. What I do hope to offer is an unstarry-eyed view of the fate of self-determination in Kashmir; and, the indispensability of convincing the United Nations that international peace and security would be strengthened, not weakened, by resolving the Kashmir conflict to the satisfaction of all parties concerned.

The self-determination of peoples is a basic principle of the United Nations Charter, which has been reaffirmed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and applied countless times to the settlement of international disputes. »

Muzaffarabad, Oct 08 (KMS): The AJK legislative Assembly in its session held in Muzaffarabad on Wednesday adopted a number of identical resolutions appealing UN and the international community to intervene and stop India from changing the disputed valley’s demographic structure.

In the resolutions, the house demanded cancellation of all domicile certificates issued illegally, revoke unlawful rules aimed at further disempowering the Kashmiris and comply with its international legal obligations through implementation of the relevant UNSC resolutions. »
