Srinagar, October 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Political Party, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash has said that unresolved Kashmir dispute is a threat to the global peace.

Mohammad Yousuf Naqash chairing an executive committee meeting of his party in Srinagar said that Illegal and forced subjugation and unabated oppression unleashed by India is a dangerous situation and can have disastrous repercussions on the world peace.

He said that the Kashmir dispute, which is human and political in nature, continued to unleash miseries and death and destruction for the subjugated people of the territory under a well-hatched plan by India to deny and suppress the inalienable right to self determination of the people. »

Islamabad, October 11 (KMS): Pakistan has strongly condemned unabated Indian state-terrorism and extra-judicial killings of innocent Kashmiris in fake encounters and so-called cordon-and-search operations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement in Islamabad on Sunday, the Foreign Office called upon the international community, including the United Nations, human rights organizations and the global media, to take full cognizance of the consistently aggravating situation in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

It also called for holding India accountable for the egregious human rights violations and war crimes in the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, October 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian army soldier committed suicide in Kupwara district, today.

The soldier committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle inside an army camp in Naugam sector of the district.

This incident raised the number of such deaths among Indian troops and police personnel in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to 476 since January 2007.

Srinagar, October 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, nine houses were gutted and almost 40 livestock died in a massive overnight blaze in Gurez valley of Bandipora district.

Eight houses caught fire in Baduaab village in Tulail area and one more house was gutted in a separate incident in Bagtore village.

Moreover, in the fire incident, several barns having livestock inside too were damaged causing death to the livestock. »

And due to stigma, most people do not seek help. Srinagar, October 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the medical experts have said that after struggling through two consecutive sieges since August, 2019, the territory has been pushed to the limit in its mental health crisis.

The health experts said on 5th August 2019, when the Indian government unilaterally repealed the special status of IIOJK and imposed a strict military siege, it instilled distress among most of the residents, especially women and children.

“We are now going through the worst and the darkest phase of the mental health situation,” said a Kashmir-based doctor from at a govt-run hospital, who wished not to be named. »
