Srinagar, October 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, protest demonstrations were held in Srinagar and other areas against the rising Indian state terrorism and anti-people policies of the fascist Modi regime in the territory.

Massive protests rocked Rawalpora area of Srinagar, today, against the cruelties of Indian troops. The locals blocked the road and demanded action against the Indian soldiers who off and on ruthlessly beat up the youth on roads. The latest protests were triggered to condemn the thrashing of two local youth by the troops in the area.

In another incident, Indian police used brute force on 11th class students who were peacefully protesting in favour of their demands in Srinagar, Ganderbal and Baramulla districts. The injured students were hospitalized. The students demanded promotion to the next class as the whole territory remained under India’s military siege and COVID-lockdown throughout the year. Scores of students including female students were picked up by police and locked in jails. »

Srinagar, October 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed deep concern over the worsening health condition of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in Udhampur jail, Jammu.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai was suffering from multiple ailments and his condition had worsened in jail in absence of proper medication.

“New Delhi has been indulging in worst form of victimization of political leaders and activists,” the APHC said and added that making mockery of laws political prisoners are denied basic facilities. »

Beijing, October 13 (KMS): China has once again said that it doesn’t recognize the so-called Ladakh Union Territory illegally set up by India or the Arunachal Pradesh, and opposes infrastructure building aimed at military contention in disputed border areas.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Zhao Lijian, during regular briefing in Beijing said this in response to a question regarding the series of new bridges inaugurated by India. He also called border infrastructure development the root cause for the tension between the two sides and said neither side should take action that might escalate tension. »

Srinagar, October 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, former puppet Chief Minister and President of pro-India Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mehbooba Mufti, was released from detention on Tuesday.

Earlier in July, the IIOJK administration had extended her detention by three months under the draconian Public Safety Act (PSA).

Srinagar, October 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police ruthlessly beat the students of class 11th who held a protest in Srinagar to demand promotion to the next class as whole territory remained under military siege and COVID-lockdown throughout the year.

The students were picked up and beaten by police when they were leaving the Press Colony, Srinagar after registering their protest, the students said. They said that not only some of them were arrested but police also misbehaved with them.

The visible signs of disrupted supply of petroleum were seen at empty petrol pumps in many parts of Kashmir, the other day. Several people across the valley, especially in Srinagar, had to return from petrol pumps without fuel for their vehicles on Monday. People were seen visiting different fuel stations in the city looking for the elusive fuel. The dearth of petrol led to severe panic among the public. »
