Srinagar, October 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Shopian district, today.

The youth were killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Chakura area of the district.

Meanwhile, an elderly man was critically injured after he was deliberately hit by an Indian army vehicle in Kangan area of Ganderbal district.

Srinagar, October 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, has condemned the occupation authorities for arresting three innocent teachers Abdul Ahad, Rouf Ahmed and Mohammed Yousuf under draconian law Public Safety Act.

The charges against the premier educational institution Sirajul Aloom are fabricated, malicious and concocted aimed at stopping the institution from serving the people in a remote village, Imamsahib, in Shopian. The institution was established twenty years back in 2000 and it has produced some bright students because of its quality education and high moral values. »

Washington, October 14 (KMS): Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai, Secretary General of Washington-based World Kashmir Awareness Forum (WKAF), has warmly welcomed Dr Moeed Yusuf, Special Advisor to Prime Minister of Pakistan on National Security and Strategic Policy, for stressing the need to include the genuine Kashmiri leadership in any future Pak-India talks on the Kashmir dispute.

Reacting positively to Dr Moeed’s interview with renowned Indian journalist, Karan Thapar, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai in a statement said, “We whole-heatedly welcome the articulation of Dr Yusuf to include the Kashmiri leadership in the talks. The people of Kashmir will welcome any talks between India and Pakistan as long as the genuine leadership of the people of Jammu & Kashmir is the part of process of negotiations. They steadfastly maintain that tripartite talks are the only way to resolve the Kashmir issue that has dominated the South Asian region for over 73 years. They maintain this constructive position, despite the outrage caused and the indescribable suffering inflicted on them, by the barbarities of the Indian occupational forces.” »

Islamabad, Oct 14 (KMS): President Arif Alvi has urged the international community to take notice of atrocities being perpetrated by India against Muslims and other minority groups.

Islamabad, Oct 14 (KMS): Pakistan stands for peace and will welcome any dialogue with India if lives of Kashmiris in IIOJK are normalized, Kashmiris are recognized as the rightful principal party in any dialogue and India stops sponsoring terrorism against Pakistan.

This was stated by Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on National Security Division Dr Moeed Yusuf in his first interview with an Indian news outlet conducted by India’s renowned journalist Karan Thapar.
