‘We also want steps for resolution of Kashmir issue’: Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, October 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the political parties on Thursday held a meeting and formed an alliance for restoration of the special status of the territory as it existed before August 5 last year and also to initiate a dialogue among all stakeholders to resolve the Kashmir issue.

The meeting was held at the residence of National Conference President Farooq Abdullah in Srinagar, today, and attended by former chief ministers Omar Abdullah and PDP’s Mehbooba Mufti, Peoples Conference chairman Sajad Lone, People’s Movement leader Javaid Mir and CPI-M leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami. »

Srinagar, October 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops’ morale is at the lowest ebb as 478 Indian soldiers and police personnel committed suicide since January 2007. Interestingly, when these lines were being written, there were reports about another soldier taking his life with his service rifle in the occupied territory.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said, incidents of suicide among Indian forces’ are showing an upward trend for multiple reasons, with Indian army sources disclosing that many soldiers are growing uncomfortable with their role in IIOJK, even fearing that they are effectively becoming an army of occupation. »

Urges Pakistan to expose India’s ugly face to world

Srinagar, October 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the General Secretary of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Molvi Bashir Ahmed, while greeting Pakistan on its re-election as a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council has expressed the hope that it will use opportunity to expose the ugly face of India to the world.

Molvi Bashir Ahmed in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India had been killing innocent people in IIOJK and Pakistan should step-up its efforts to bring India to task for its brutalities on the innocent Kashmiris. »

New Delhi, October 15 (KMS): In a shocking incident of racial discrimination in the Modi-led fascist India, a Kashmiri woman has said that she was assaulted and abused by her house owner, accompanied by apparently an RSS goon, in Delhi.

Noor Butt, belonging to Srinagar in IIOJK, narrated her ordeal on Twitter saying that her house owner along with a man entered the house and started calling her a ‘terrorist’ because of her Kashmiri origin. She further said that the incident took place in front of police and that the house owner also stole her belongings from the house. »

Srinagar, October 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Muzahamat, Bilal Ahmed Siddiqi, has strongly condemned the arrest of three teachers of a premier educational institution Siraj-ul-Uloom in Shopian under draconian law, Public Safety Act.

Srinagar, October 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a soldier of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) committed suicide in Srinagar, today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the CRPF man identified as P G Naid ended his life by shooting himself with his service rifle in Mehjoor Nagar area of Srinagar. »
