JKYSF Chief Coordinator and Srinagar District President, Tauseef Ahmed along with Rafiq Ahmed, Sajad Ahmed, Bashir Ahmed and brothers of Fahad Ahmed and Meraj Bangroo also joined the delegation and visited the martyrs’ graveyard, Eidgah, Srinagar and offered Fateha for the departed souls. »

Srinagar, October 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori has paid rich tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Islamabad district, today.

The troops killed the youth during a cordon and search operation in Larnoo area of the district. Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the blood of the martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to take the ongoing liberation movement to its logical conclusion. »

Srinagar, October 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that the Indian repressive policies against the Kashmiri people and local media have increased tremendously to suppress the voice for freedom and truth in the territory.

The forum in a statement issued in Srinagar while denouncing the Indian government’s policy of intimidation and coercion against the media fraternity in the territory said that media was being stifled to suppress the truth.

The statement said that local journalists and print media owners are facing risk to their lives greatly while upholding the standards of journalistic ethics by reporting factually, neutrally and fearlessly from the ground. “The international recognition and acclaim that the Kashmiri journalists have earned has made the people of J&K proud.” »

Srinagar, October 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir International Forum for Justice and Human Rights, Mohammed Ahsan Untoo has said that illegally detained Tehreek-e- Hurriyat Chairman, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, is suffering from severe joint pain, hypertension and other ailments as per his medical report.

Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai needed immediate medical attention but the authorities at Udhampur jail were depriving him of medical facility as advised by his doctors in Bone and Joint Hospital, Srinagar. »

Calls for shutdown in IIOJK on October 27

Srinagar, October 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) while asking people to continue to resist India’s anti-Kashmir measures has called for complete shutdown on 27th October to observe the day as black day to convey a message to India that the people of the territory reject its illegal occupation of their motherland.

It was on 27th October in 1947 when Indian troops invaded the territory and illegally occupied it in total violation of the Partition Plan of the sub-continent and against the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that 27th October 1947 was an unfortunate day in the history of Kashmir and the Indian troops had been involved in merciless killing, blinding and arresting of Kashmiris, destruction of their properties and assaults on the whole population including women. »

Srinagar, October 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian army is hypocritically trying to hide its cruel face behind the façade of so-called goodwill operations in the territory.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, cited day-to-day killings of Kashmiri youth by Indian troops in the garb of cordon and search operations to take the lid off its so-called humanitarian operations like Sadbhavana (Goodwill) in the territory. It said that the killing of 95,686 including 7,147 in custody from January 1, 1989 to September 30, 2020 speaks volumes about the ‘Goodwill gesture’ of the brutal Indian forces towards the Kashmiri people. »

New Delhi, October 17 (KMS): The Congress while welcoming the formation of an alliance by local political parties in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has demanded restoration of Article 370 and the rights of the Kashmiri people.

Senior Congress Spokesman P Chidambaram on Twitter said, New Delhi must stop looking at the parties and the people of Jammu and Kashmir as “anti-national”.

The assertion comes a day after IIOJK political parties held a meeting and formed an alliance for restoration of the special status of the territory as it existed before August 5 last year and also to initiate a dialogue between all stakeholders to resolve the Kashmir issue. »

Islamabad, Oct 17 (KMS): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Security and Strategic Policy Planning, Dr Moeed Yusuf says India is stuck in a difficult position in the Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and unable to figure out what to do.

Talking to media in Islamabad, he said India’s illegal move of 5 August, last year has expectedly backfired and it has lost Kashmir for all practical purposes. »
