Srinagar, October 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred a Kashmir youth, today, in Shopian district of south Kashmir.

The youth was killed by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Melhora area of the district.

The operation was going on till the last reports came in.

Srinagar, October 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian police officer was shot dead by unidentified men in Sundpora Kenalwan area of Islamabad district, today.

Police inspector, identified as Mohammad Ashraf Butt, a resident of Sundpora, Kanelwan, was killed when he was returning home after offering Maghrib prayers. »

Srinagar, October 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two youth were arrested by Indian police in Chandooda, Pattan area of Barmulla district.

The youth were arrested during a joint cordon and search operation by Indian Army and police in Chandooda.

Police claimed that the detained youth were militants and a case has been registered against them. »

Srinagar, October 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police presented a challan against Hurriyat leaders Javaid Ahmad Mir, Firdous Ahmad Shah, Nisar Hussain Rather and Shakeel Ahmad Butt in a TADA court in Srinagar in a 13 years old fake case.

The challan was presented by Khanyar police, Srinagar, in the case filed against the four Hurriyat leaders on July 13, 2007. »

Muzaffarabad, October 19 (KMS): A protest rally was organized at Shaheed Burhan Muzaffar Wani Chowk in Muzaffarabad against the illegal arrest of thousands of innocent Kashmiris including Hurriyat leaders and serious human rights violations by Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The rally was organized by International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Jammu and Kashmir. The demonstrators were holding banners and placards demanding the immediate release of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and innocent Kashmiris languishing in different jails of India and the territory.
