India extends ban on 4g internet service in IIOJK

Srinagar, October 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Muslim League has strongly condemned the surge in incidents of state terrorism and the genocide of Kashmiris by Indian troops in the territory.

The JKML at a meeting of its Advisory Council in Srinagar said that the Kashmiris reject the illegal actions taken by Modi government on and after August 05, 2019 in IIOJK. The meeting maintained that India had invaded the territory of Jammu and Kashmir on 27th October in 1947 but Kashmiris have never accepted this forcible occupation till date and continue their struggle to get rid of it. The JKML said that Indian authorities were subjecting the illegally detained party leaders, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Muhammad Yousuf Mir, Farooq Ahmed Tawheedi and Muhammad Rafiq Ganai to political vengeance. »

Srinagar, October 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the activists of Jammu and Kashmir Students Youth Forum (JKSYF), today, swarmed the Kashmir Valley with posters reading pro-freedom and quit Kashmir slogans.

The JKSYF in a statement issued in Srinagar that the posters also voiced Kashmiris’ condemnation of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) agenda and the rejection of measures aimed at changing the demography of the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, October 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Sopore area of Baramulla district, today.

The operation was launched by Indian forces in Tujjer area of Sopore. The troops arrested two youth during the operation, which continued till last reports came in.

REPORTERS WITHOUT BORDERS, for Freedom of Infomation logo, international organization for press freedom, graphic element on graySrinagar, October 22 (KMS): The Paris-based journalists’ body, Reporters Without Borders (RSF), has denounced the sealing of the English daily Kashmir Times in Srinagar by the Indian authorities.

The officials of Delhi-run Estate Department evicted journalists from the office of the English-language Kashmir Times newspaper on Monday in Srinagar and then sealed the premises.

“The arbitrary way the Kashmir Times’ journalists were expelled from their office is extremely shocking,” said Daniel Bastard, the head of RSF’s Asia-Pacific desk, in a statement released on the website of the organization. »

Srinagar, October 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC) has paid glowing tributes to the Bijbehara martyrs of October 22, 1993.

Over 50 innocent Kashmiris were killed in Bijbehara on October 22, 1993, when the troops of Indian Border Security Force opened fire on the peaceful demonstrators who were protesting against the military siege of Srinagar’s Hazratbal Shrine. »

The JKML spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the party in its Advisory Council meeting held in Srinagar said that Indian troops invaded Jammu and Kashmir on October 27, 1947 but the Kashmiris had never accepted this occupation. He said that the people of Kashmir had been observing October 27 as a Black Day for the last over seven decades and were struggling for resolution of the Kashmir dispute according to their aspirations and the UN resolutions. »

On 27th October in 1947 Indian troops had invaded Jammu and Kashmir and occupied it in total violation of the Partition Plan of the subcontinent and against the Kashmiris’ aspirations. »

Patna, India, October 22 (KMS): The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, has said that the abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution has given people of India a licence to own property in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Yogi Adityanath, the BJP leader, addressing rallies in Jamui, Tarari and Paliganj assembly constituencies of Bihar, said earlier a person from this part of Bihar could not even think of owning property in Kashmir. »

Srinagar, October 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police beat up and arrested several daily wage workers in Srinagar.

Hundreds of daily-wage workers engaged in different departments assembled at a park in Srinagar and raised slogans to press for regularization of their services.

The police swung into action and detained scores of protestors when they tried to march towards Secretariat. The police used water cannon and lathi charge to disperse the protestors.

United Nations, October 22 (KMS): Ali Ziyad, a US-based Kashmiri youth delegate, has told a UN panel that India continues to deny the right to self-determination to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Ali Ziyad addressing the Third Committee Informal Debate of UN Youth Delegates said that successive generations of Kashmiri youth and children had suffered at the hands of Indian troops.

He said, in the wake of India’s illegal and unilateral actions of 5th August, last year, these atrocities have redoubled. During the last fourteen months, India has illegally detained thousands of Kashmiri youth, tortured many of them and imposed collective punishment by demolishing homes and burning entire neighborhood and villages, he added. »
