Islamabad, October 23 (KMS): Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, has urged the United Nations to exercise its legal and political authority to ensure full implementation of its resolutions on Kashmir.

He was addressing a ceremony, today, in connection with the 75th anniversary of the United Nations in Islamabad. The UN was founded on October 24 in 1945.

The Foreign Minister said it is deplorable that universal ideals of UN Charter are continuously being violated and defied with impunity nowhere more egregiously than in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. »

Srinagar, October 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, former puppet Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President, Mehbooba Mufti, today, said India wants the land of Jammu and Kashmir not its people.

Addressing a presser at her residence in Srinagar, today, Mehbooba Mufti said that thousands of people had given their lives for the resolution of Kashmir issue, now was the time for political leaders to give their blood. The PDP president said she will be the first person among the leaders to give blood for this cause in case the need arises. »

Srinagar, October 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has deplored that extrajudicial killings and fake encounters by Indian troops have become a norm in the territory to suppress the Kashmiris’ just liberation struggle.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar maintained that Indian troops pick up innocent youth from their homes and kill them in staged encounters. He said that the recent extrajudicial killing of three labourers of Rajouri by Indian Army in Shopian district had again refreshed the memories of other fake encounters including Pathribal and Machil.

The spokesman said that Indian troops were killing the Kashmiri youth on daily basis to change the demography of the territory. He said the troops fearing huge participation of people in the funerals of the martyred youth do not even hand over their dead bodies to their families and secretly bury them in far off places. »

Srinagar, October 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami, a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), has said that the Kashmir and Palestine disputes are a big question mark on the existence of the United Nations.

The Chairman of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami, Khadim Hussain, in a statement issued in Srinagar on the eve of Founding Day of the United Nations deplored that the World Body could not provide justice to the peoples of the two territories.

He said that the Kashmiris and Palestinians had been looking towards the United Nations for liberation from the tyranny of the occupying forces. He added that after World War II, the United Nations was established on October 24, 1945 for world peace, security, development and the resolution of global conflicts, but it failed to fulfill its responsibilities. »

Islamabad, October 23 (KMS): Pakistan and Argentina held fourth round of bilateral political consultations via video link and discussed a wide range of bilateral, regional and multilateral matters of mutual interest.

Additional Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi who represented Pakistan in the talks said the two countries enjoy cordial relationship based on mutual respect and understanding. »

On 27th October in 1947 Indian troops had invaded Jammu and Kashmir and occupied it in total violation of the Partition Plan of the subcontinent and against the Kashmiris’ aspirations. »
