Islamabad, October 24 (KMS): The United Nations, which was established in 1945 to promote international cooperation and resolve world conflicts, has miserably failed to settle the Kashmir dispute despite the passing of 73 years.

A report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service on the United Nations Day, today, maintained that the World Body had passed several resolutions on Kashmir in which it was pledged that the people of Kashmir would be granted their inalienable right to self-determination through plebiscite. »

Srinagar, October 24 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the posters of Pakistani leaders surfaced in Srinagar, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Bandipora, Badgam and other areas of the territory.

The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Alliance issued the posters with portraits of Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, President, Dr Arif Alvi, and Prime Minister, Imran Khan, along with their statements regarding Kashmir. »

Chakothi, October 24 (KMS): An anti-India protest demonstration was held near the Line of Control in Chakothi area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir which was participated by hundreds of people.

The speakers addressing the protesters said that 447 days had passed since Narendra Modi-led fascist government imposed military siege in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Indian forces were killing innocent Kashmiris. »

Islamabad, Oct 24 (KMS): President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have urged the international community especially the UN to exercise its moral, legal, political and diplomatic authority to implement Security Council resolutions on Kashmir dispute.

They said this in their separate messages on the occasion of 75th Anniversary of United Nations.

President Arif Alvi said the Security Council should put pressure on Indian government to end its oppression in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. »

Srinagar, October 24 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops have launched cordon and search operations in different areas of Pulwama district.

The troops cordoned off Chatapora, Tengpuna, Dangerpora and Hajipora areas of the district and launched house to house searches, causing huge inconvenience to the local residents. The searches were going on when last reports came in. »

Srinagar, October 24 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) of the territory were released from illegal detention after court granted them bail.

The JI District President for Bandipora, Muhammad Skinder Malik, and Tehsil President, Ali Muhammad Sheikh, were released from Judicial Custody from Central Jail Srinagar and Sub-Jail Baramulla respectively. Court bailed out both the leaders. »

Brussels, October 24 (KMS): Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU) has said that a protest demonstration will be held on Tuesday in front of Indian Embassy in Brussels on the occasion of day of Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir (27th Oct).

Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and based in other parts of the world are observing Black Day on 27th October to protest against India’s illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. It is important to mention that Indian forces had illegally occupied a large part of Jammu and Kashmir on 27th October in 1947. »

Islamabad, October 24 (KMS): Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for right to self-determination.

In his message on the occasion of foundation day of Azad Kashmir, he said the world should take notice of Indian inhuman acts and brutalities in the occupied territory. He demanded imposition of sanctions on India. »

Srinagar, October 24 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Democratic Political Movement, Khawaja Firdous has said that India forcibly landed its troops in Srinagar on October 27, 1947 and illegally occupied the territory.

Khawaja Firdous addressing a public gathering in Buchpora area of Srinagar said that the people of Kashmiri had always observed October 27 as Black Day and would continue to do so till liberation of Kashmir from India.

He said that when the Indian Army faced the Kashmiris’ resentment, New Delhi took the Kashmir dispute to the United Nations and promised that it would give their due right to the people of Kashmir. »
