BJP goons attack PDP office in Jammu

Srinagar, October 25 (KMS): Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and the world over will observe Black Day on the 27th October to convey to the world that they reject India’s illegal occupation of their motherland.

Call for observance of the day to be marked by shutdown in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has been given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and other pro-freedom organizations. On 27th October in 1947 Indian troops had invaded Jammu and Kashmir and occupied it in total violation of the essence of Partition Plan of the subcontinent and against the Kashmiris’ aspirations. The Hurriyat forum in a statement issued in Srinagar said that since October 1947, tens of thousands of Indian troops continue to illegally occupy the territory. It appealed to the Kashmiris living across the globe to hold anti-India and pro-freedom rallies and protests on the day to draw world’s attention towards the unresolved Kashmir dispute and the suffering of the people living in the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, October 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori during his visits to Srinagar and Islamabad expressed solidarity with the families of recently martyred youth by Indian troops.

Ghulam Sopori on the occasion, paying homage to the martyred youth said that the Indian troops were killing innocent Kashmiris on daily basis.

He said that the Indian rulers should understand that the use of force had not been able to subdue the people’s resolve for freedom. »

Srinagar, October 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum (JKYSF) visited Hakerpora area of Pulwama to pay tributes to the martyr Nazim Ahmad.

The delegation was led by JKYSF vice Chairman Ghulam Rasool Kaloo. He was accompanied by Chief Coordinator Tauseef Ahmed, Faisal Ahmed and Abdul Sattar.

Addressing mourners on the occasion, the delegation members said, India is fighting an invincible war, while the Kashmiri people cannot afford to lose this war as it is a war of existence and survival for them. »

Srinagar, October 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters were once again displayed in Srinagar and other areas appealing people to observe October 27 on Tuesday as Black Day against the invasion of the territory by Indian occupation forces on this day in 1947.

The posters were displayed by Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League. JKPL Chief Organizer Dr Sarfaraz Ahmad Khan and Coordinator Shaikh Nazir Ahmad in their statement said the Kashmiris would register their protest against India’s illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir on October 27 as Indian troops had invaded the territory in total violation of the Partition Plan of the Sub Continent and against the Kashmiris’ aspirations. »

Srinagar, October 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat forum led by illegally detained Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that on October 27 (Tuesday), the black day of J&K’s history, will be observed by all as “Occupation Day.”

Hurriyat forum in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “It was on this day in 1947, that Indian troops landed in Kashmir and occupied our land and since then lakhs of Indian forces continue to occupy us and our land illegally. A complete BLACK DAY will be observed on this day.” »

Srinagar, October 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has appealed to the Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and the world over to observe October 27 as black day as a mark of protest against India’s prolonged military occupation over the territory.

Indian forces had illegally occupied a large part of Jammu and Kashmir on 27th October in 1947.

The DFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, terming 27th October as one of the darkest chapters of Kashmir’ history, said that the invasion of Kashmir by India on 27th October 1947 was a naked aggression devoid of legal and moral justification.

Describing it as an atrocious attack on the political and democratic rights of millions of Kashmiris, the spokesman said, on this fateful day the so-called democratic state had brazenly violated the international law by usurping the fundamental rights of the people of Kashmir. »

Srinagar, October 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, hooligans barged into the Jammu office of Mehboobal Mufti-led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and physically assaulted two of its leaders there.

Firdous Tak, PDP leader and ex-legislator, tweeted: “Few right wingers barged inside and even physically assaulted me and Parvez Waffa.”

The PDP’s official Twitter handle said the attack shows desperation of those claiming to be champions of democracy. »

Srinagar, October 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, ten days after being shot by unknown gunmen in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, a former mujahid succumbed to wounds at a hospital in Srinagar today.

Tanveer Ahmad Sofi of Kakpora, Pulwama, lost battle with life at SMHS hospital in Srinagar where he was admitted on October 15 when he was seriously injured in the attack.

Muzaffarabad, October 25 (KMS): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President, Sardar Masood Khan has ruled out any talks with India in the present situation.

Sardar Masood Khan addressing a function in Muzaffarabad said that if India wanted to hold talks, it must withdraw all actions taken about Kashmir after August 5, 2019; cease military operation in the held territory; immediately stop settling non-Kashmiri subjects in the state, and release all political prisoners.

Rejecting bilateral talks with India, the AJK president said, Kashmir is not a bilateral dispute between Pakistan and India, but it has been debated thrice in the UN Security Council during the last one year, and we will never want the Kashmir issue to be dragged from the world body and confine it to Delhi. »

Islamabad, October 25 (KMS): Chairman, Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Khan Afridi has said that Modi’s expansionist agenda is bound to fail due to fragile economic situation.

In a media interview, he said that India would never succeed in suppressing the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

He said that brave Kashmiri people were waging an unprecedented freedom struggle to get their legitimate right of self determination as per UNSC resolutions.

“India has deployed over 900,000 troops in IIOJK, but it will not be able to crush the nine million Kashmiris who are facing the worst human rights violations in the form of curfews, torture and disappearance 446 days of military siege,” said Afridi. »
