Soldier killed, two injured in Pakistani firing in Poonch | India News -  Times of IndiaSrinagar, October 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two Indian soldiers were critically injured in a landmine blast in Poonch district.

An explosion took place near a forward post of Indian Army in Tarkundi area of Balakote in the district resulting in injuries to two soldiers. Both the injured are presently undergoing treatment in a local army hospital.

India’s anti-Kashmiri moves strongly denounced

Srinagar, October 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has called for complete shutdown on Saturday to register protest against Modi government’s designs to change the demographic composition of the territory.

The Hurriyat forum in a statement in Srinagar strongly denounced the incessant anti-people orders being issued by the government of India at frequent intervals to intimidate and psychologically torture the people of the territory. It said that this imperialistic approach of New Delhi was bound to fail. »

Srinagar, October 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori has said that Indian troops are killing innocent Kashmiri youth on daily basis.

Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori while addressing a meeting in Srinagar said that due to the unrelenting ongoing repression unleashed by India in the occupied territory for the past several decades, Kashmiri youth were forced to take the path to armed struggle against the brutal Indian forces. He paid homage to the youth martyred in Tral, Badgam and other areas and said that Indian troops were ruthlessly spilling the blood of Kashmiri youth. »

Indian army soldiers guard during restrictions in occupied Kashmir on Monday. — APSrinagar, October 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the number of Indian troops present in the territory has soared to over 1.5 million.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service said, the number of Indian troops present in IIOJK is cited to be around eight to nine hundred thousand. However, as per KMS research cell based in Srinagar, the actual number of occupational troops is 1,501,000.

The research also gave a break-up of the Indian forces’ personnel, according to which the number of Indian Army soldiers is 750,000, paramilitary forces including CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP is 535,000, the number of Police personnel is 130,000, Special Police Officers 35,000 and Village Defense Committee personnel 51,000. It makes a grand total of 1,501,000 Indian occupational forces’ personnel present in the territory. KMS—5M

Ottawa (Canada), October 28 (KMS): A webinar was organized by the High Commission for Pakistan, Ottawa, and the Consulate General of Pakistan, Toronto, to observe Kashmir Black Day.

The event was held to observe 27 October as the darkest day of Kashmir’s history as Indian forces landed in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on that day in 1947.

New Delhi denounced for allowing outsiders to buy IIOJK land

NIA conducts raids on JeM militant in Kashmir | Y This NewsSrinagar, October 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India’s notorious agency National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided several places in the territory.

The NIA conducted raids at least at nine different locations in Sonwar, Nawa Kadal, Nehru Park and Pratap Park areas of Srinagar. The residences of noted human rights defender, Khuram Parvez, journalists Gowhar Geelani,Parvaiz Bukhari and Zahir-ud-Din and the offices of English daily Greater Kashmir and an NGO Athrout were raided by the NIA. At least three other NGOs founded in 2000 were also raided by the probe agency

The personnel of the probe agency also raided the house of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader, Muhammad Yousuf Sofi in Bandipore. »
