Srinagar, October 29 (KMS): The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has reiterated its resolve to resist Indian sinister designs, aimed at changing the demography of Jammu Kashmir, and has announced its unconditional support to every resistance programmes India’s arbitrary and dictatorial measures.

Islamabad, October 29 (KMS): The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL), Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, has expressed grave concern over the new amended land laws in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as a first step to grab immovable property of the inhabitants of the territory.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement in Islamabad said that Modi government illegally and in violations of the UN Charter, resolutions, international laws and Pak-India bilateral agreements divided IIOJK into two union territories and all the administrative officers and staff had been sent from among the non-resident Indian citizens. »

Brussels, October 29 (KMS): The Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU), Ali Raza Syed, has strongly condemned the raids conducted by the Indian authorities on offices and residences of prominent human rights activities including Khurram Pervaiz and Perveena Ahangar in Srinagar.

India’s National Investigating Agency (NIA) conducted raids at multiple locations in Srinagar including the residences of human rights activists, Khurram Pervaiz, the Chair of Asian Federation Against Involuntary Disappearances (AFAD) and Programme Coordinator of Jammu Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society (JKCCS) and office of Association of Parents for Disappeared Persons (APDP) headed by Perveena Ahangar as well as offices and residences of some journalists, media organizations and NGOs. »

Srinagar, October 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Youth Social Forum General Secretary, Zubair Hassan Mir, visited the residence of a Kashmiri martyr, Showkat Ahmed, , who was recently martyred by Indian troops in Tral area of Pulwama district.

Addressing mourners, Zubair paid rich tributes to Showkat and other martyrs saying the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri martyrs would never go waste.

Zubair Mir condemned the fresh NIA raids and said, “Every segment of the society right from press to business is being targeted and subjected to harassment.These raids won’t deter our motive, and we won’t desist from taking the struggle to its logical end.” »

Naqshbandi demands release of detained Hurriyat leaders | Kashmir Media ServiceIslamabad, October 29 (KMS): The Convener of AJK-chapter of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq-led Hurriyat forum, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, has categorically rejected Indian government’s illegal amendments in land ownership laws in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir that paved the way for non-Kashmiris to own land in the territory.

Syed Faiz Naqshbandi in a meeting of the forum in Islamabad said Jammu and Kashmir is a UN recognised disputed territory. He maintained that India’s illegal and unilateral actions of 5th August 2019, and subsequent measures, particularly the domicile law and now the land ownership laws, are aimed at changing urgently the demographic structure of IIOJK and to convert the Kashmiri Muslims into a minority in their own land. »

Won’t tolerate attempts to change demographics: Mehbooba

The police foiled the protest march of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against the new land law and detained several leaders including Khurshid Aalam, Waheed Parra, Suhail Bukhari, Mohsin Qayoom, Rouf Butt and Mohit Bhan in Srinagar.

The PDP leaders had announced to take out a protest rally from the party headquarters in Srinagar to the Press Enclave demanding repeal of the new land laws which have paved the way for non-Kashmiris to buy land in IIOJK. However, soon after the leaders reached the party headquarters, they were detained by the police already deployed there. »

Jammu, October 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and National Panthers Party (NPP) staged separate protests in Jammu, demanding repeal of the new land laws which have paved the way for non-Kashmiris to buy land in the territory.

PDP activists, led by General Secretary, Surinder Choudhary, assembled at the party headquarters at Gandhi Nagar and held a rally to lodge their resentment against the BJP-led Indian government over the new land law. However, the protesters were stopped by police from marching on the main road and they later dispersed peacefully. »
