Indian troops martyr 23 Kashmiris in October

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred a prominent mujhaid commander, Dr Saifullah, in Srinagar, today.

The troops killed Dr. Saifullah during a cordon and search operation in Rangreth area on the outskirts of the city. Inspector General of IIOJK Police Vijay Kumar while talking to media in Srinagar claimed that the martyr was top commander of Hizbul Mujhahideen who was killed during an encounter. He said that one youth was arrested during the operation.

Meanwhile, a report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, said that Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred 23 Kashmiris including a woman during the last month of October. Three of the martyrs were killed in fake encounters. At least, 42 people were injured in firing of bullets, pellets and teargas shells by Indian forces’ personnel on peaceful protesters in the territory. Indian police arrested 94 people and destroyed 7 residential houses and structures, while 5 women were molested during the 363 cordon and search operations in different areas in the month. »

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India cannot hide massacres, mass arrests, raids, extrajudicial killings and other human rights violations committed by its forces through its propaganda machinery.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said that New Delhi is misleading the world by falsely propagating that peace is returning to territory while the fact is that 23 innocent Kashmiris including a woman were killed by its troops in just last month of October. The report maintained that of these 23 martyrs, three youth were killed by the troops in fake encounters in IIOJK. »

Gilgit Baltistan, November 01 (KMS): The people of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) are celebrating their 73rd independence anniversary, today.

It was on this day on November in 1947, when people of Gilgit Baltistan led by the Gilgit Scouts stood against the Dogra Governor, Brigadier Ghansara Singh and arrested him. They also announced the liberation of Gilgit-Baltistan from the Dogra rule and hoisted Pakistan’s national flag.

The regional government has declared an official holiday on the occasion, where rallies and functions highlighting the importance of the day are being organized. »

Islamabad, November 01 (KMS): Pakistan has categorically rejected the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s insinuation of Pakistan’s involvement in the Pulwama attack by alluding to remarks made by a minister in the National Assembly.

Foreign Office Spokesperson, Zahid Hafeez in a statement issued in Islamabad, today, said Pakistan firmly believes that the biggest beneficiary of the February 2019 Pulwama attack was the BJP government, as it resulted in BJP’s landslide victory in Lok Sabha elections following their virulent anti-Pakistan electoral campaign.

He said that India has failed to provide any credible evidence of Pakistan’s alleged involvement in the Pulwama attack. »

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum (JKYSF), visited the residence of martyr Javaid Ahmed at Khanda Wampora in Pulwama and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

Indian troops martyred Javaid Ahmed recently during a cordon and search operation at Mochva in Budgam.

The delegation comprised JKYSF Vice Chairman, Ghulam Rasool Kaloo, Chief Coordinator, Tauseef Ahmed, Faisal Ahmed and Abdul Satar. »

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (DPM), Khawaja Firdous has said that the crippling strike, observed by IIOJK people, yesterday, against India has made it clear to New Delhi that they do not recognize its illegal occupation over their homeland.

Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India should read writing on the wall and allow the Kashmiris to decide their future through plebiscite. He said that the way the people of IIOJK observed strike against the oppressive Indian laws and the change in the demography of the territory was enough to open the eyes of India and the international community. »

New Delhi, November 01 (KMS): The Press Club of India has said the searching of journalists’ computers, hard discs and pen drives at the Srinagar office of the Greater Kashmir (GK) English newspaper by the Indian notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA) recently was a matter of great concern.

The PCI in a statement in New Delhi said, “It [the NIA action] is so glaringly contrary to the spirit of ensuring media freedoms by governments.” »

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred twenty three (23) Kashmiris including a woman during the last month of October.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, three youth of those martyred were killed in fake encounters.

The killings by the troops rendered two (2) women widowed and three (3) children orphaned.

During the period, at least forty two (42) persons were injured due to the use of brute force including firing of bullets, pellets and teargas shells by Indian troops and police personnel on peaceful protesters in the territory »

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, police have registered a case against a Twitter handle in Shopian district for using social media.

A police official has confirmed that a case has been registered against the Twitter handle in Shopian.

The official, however, did not identify the user. “We have started the investigation. The law will take its own course,” said the official.
