Srinagar, November 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Civil Society Forum (CSF) on Monday held a protest demonstration near Press enclave in Srinagar.

The demonstration was held against the announcement of new land laws for the territory by the Indian government.

The CSF President, Qayoom Wani on the occasion said that the protest was against the attempts to change demography of IIOJK. »

Srinagar, November 02 (KMS):  Senior Hurriyat leader Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has said that Kashmiris are masters of their land and destiny and India will not be allowed to snatch their land through changing the Muslim majority character of the territory.

Addressing a religious congregation at Botingoo in Sopore, he said Kashmir is a disputed territory and a political problem, deep rooted in the political conscientious of world which needs to be understood by the Indian authorities.

The event was attended by large number of religious scholars, students and common people. »

Srinagar, November 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations while denouncing stepped-up Indian state terrorism have paid glowing tributes to the martyred mujhaid commander, Dr Saifullah.

Dr Saifullah was killed by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Rangreth area on the outskirts of Srinagar, yesterday.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference while paying rich tributes to Dr. Saifullah in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said that the Kashmiris were indebted to huge and sacred sacrifices of their beloved and revered martyrs. The APHC spokesman added that despite limited resources the Kashkmiri youth were fighting the war of liberation with a mighty and cunning adversary and were sacrificing their precious lives for the cause of Islam and freedom. »

Srinagar, November 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Modi-led fascist Indian government is imposing nowadays colonial laws including land and domicile laws with an aim to change IIOJK demography to affect the UN-pledged plebiscite in future.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service in Srinagar, today, said that since high-ups in India including the RSS-backed present ruling dispensation is convinced that the international community could anytime force India to grant the Kashmiris’ right to decide their future through plebiscite under UN resolutions, they are using every brutal tactic to manipulate the supposed plebiscite. »

Khawaja Abbul Hameed belonged to Sumbal area of Bandipore district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. »

Jammu, November 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement has said that India is hatching conspiracies to change demographic character of the disputed territory.

APHC leader and JKPM Chairman Mir Shahid Saleem while addressing a one-day Dalit convention at Bishnah, Jammu said after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A, India was pursuing colonial policies to change the demographic character of the territory.

He said after snatching democratic and political rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the RSS led Indian government was now depriving the locals of jobs and natural resources. »

New Delhi, November 02 (KMS): In view of wide-ranging disapproval to Modi-led fascist Indian government’s policies by its neighbours, India is planning to have laser walls or infrared fencing on the 1,751 kilometer long Indo-Nepal border.

The infrared fencing will be in place around the Sonauli check-post on the Indo-Nepal border in Uttar Pradesh and will be extended to the border areas in Uttarakhand. »

Islamabad, November 02 (KMS):  Chairman Kashmir Institute of International Relations (KIIR) Altaf Hussain Wani has made a passionate appeal to the UN Secretary General António Guterres urging him to mount pressure on Indian government to stop human rights violations, persecution of journalists, rights defenders and civil society activists in the held territory.

In a letter addressed to the UN Secretary General the KIIR chief while seeking Guterres’ urgent attention towards the highly critical situation in the region said, “The human rights situation in the occupied Kashmir has taken a dangerous turn after Indian government’s unilateral decision to forcibly annex the disputed state into Indian Union, last year”. »
