Islamabad November 06 (KMS): The speakers of a roundtable conference in Islamabad, today, maintained that Kashmiris are determined to continue their struggle for securing their right to self-determination till complete success.

The roundtable conference was organized by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter on the occasion of Jammu Martyrs’ Day.

Addressing the conference, the Hurriyat leaders said that the Jammu Martyrs of November 1947 sacrificed their lives for a great cause. They deplored that the elders, children and women of Jammu were brutally martyred by Dogra soldiers, Indian Army and terrorist organizations. »

Indian troops martyr 3 youth in Pulwama

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) and the world over are observing the Jammu Martyrs’ Day, today, with renewed pledge to thwart Indian machinations and to continue the martyrs’ mission till the realization of their inalienable right to self-determination.

Hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris were massacred by the forces of Maharaja Hari Singh, Indian Army and Hindu extremists in different parts of Jammu region while they were migrating to Pakistan during the first week of November in 1947.

Hurriyat leaders and organizations including Abdul Ahad Parra, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, Gulam Nabi War, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami and Democratic Political Movement in their statements termed the Jammu massacre as the worst chapter in the history of Jammu and Kashmir. They said that Kashmiris were determined to take the mission of their martyrs to its logical conclusion at all costs. »

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a forceful protest demonstration was held outside the historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar after Friday prayers, today, to demand immediate release of Hurriyat forum Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who continues to be under arbitrary house arrest for more than 15 months.

The protest was led by members of Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid.

Anjuman Auqaf Vice President and Khateeb of Jamia Masjid, Ahmad Syed Naqshbandi, while delivering the Friday sermon termed the prevailing situation in IIOJK as extremely grave. He said in this modern era, it is a big tragedy that Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who enjoys the reputation of being a globally acknowledged leader, is being kept under illegal and arbitrary house detention for the last one-and-a-half year due to which not only the pulpit of the central Jamia Masjid is silent but the Mirwaiz is also unable to perform his religious obligations. »

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiris in Pulwama district.

The troops martyred two youth and injured two other civilians during a violent cordon and search operation in Pampore area of the district.

One of the civilians, critically injured by the troops, succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital in Srinagar. The condition of the other injured is reported to be stable. »

It said, Jammu massacre of 1947 is the darkest chapter of Kashmir’s history as scars of the gruesome massacre of Jammu Muslims are still fresh in Kashmiris’ memory. Gruesome massacre of Jammu Muslims was meant to change the demography of the territory and the carnage is a reminder of the criminal face of Hindutva forces, it added. »

The Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), Abdul Ahad Parra, addressing a party meeting in Srinagar said that the best way to pay tributes to the martyrs was to continue their mission till it reached its logical conclusion. He appealed to the United Nations to settle the lingering Kashmir dispute by implementing its resolutions so that permanent peace could be established in the south Asian region. »

The speakers addressing on the occasion denounced the Indian state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The speakers included Chaudhry Usman Ali, General Secretary of Sialkot Bar, former Attorney General, Advocate Abdul Waheed Bukhari, and Hurriyat AJK chapter leaders, Mustafa Muhammad Hussain, Ghulam Muhammad Safi and Advocate Pervez Ahmad Shah. Hurriyat AJK leaders, Khadim Hussain and Mazoor-ul-Haq Butt, and a large number of Bar members attended the function. »

Muzaffarabad, November 06 (KMS): Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir held a rally in Muzaffarabad, today, to pay tribute to Jammu Martyrs of 1947.

The participants of the rally chanted anti-India and pro-freedom slogans while holding banners and placards.

Terming the atrocities of Hindu extremist organisations as brutal human rights violations, the speakers said that Hindu extremist orhgganisations including Rashtriya Swayamsevak Singh (RSS), Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Pareshad and BJP were the enemies of Muslims and other minorities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. »

Protests in Jammu against new land laws in IIOJK | Kashmir Media ServiceJammu, November 06 (KMS): In Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, activists of Dogra Youth staged a protest against the newly introduced land laws by the Indian government.

The new land laws allow every non-state subject/non-Kashmiris to buy land in IIOJK.

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Islamic Political Party has expressed grave concern over the grave human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian troops in the territory.

The spokesman of the Islamic Political Party in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the people of Kashmir wanted to decide their future through a referendum in accordance with the UN resolutions. He said that the Kashmiri people were facing severe difficulties due to unresolved Kashmir dispute. He added that India had illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir against which the Kashmiris were making great sacrifices. He said that during the last three decades, more than one lakh Kashmiris had sacrificed their lives for the Kashmir cause. »
