Srinagar, November 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have prohibited the High Court Bar Association (HCBA) from holding any elections till it clarifies its position on terming Kashmir a disputed territory.

The authorities issued three notices to the High Court Bar Association of the territory asking it to explain the constitution of the bar which terms Kashmir a disputed area. The authorities also imposed prohibitory orders in premises of the district court complex in Srinagar. The notices were issued by Srinagar District Magistrate, Shahid Iqbal Choudhury. »

Jammu, November 09 (KMS): The President of Peoples Democratic Party and former puppet Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has said that they want Article 370 back in the territory and added that the BJP will have to return everything snatched from the Kashmiri people.

Mehbooba Mufti talking to media persons at her party office in Jammu said that Article 370 and other provisions of special status of Kashmir were not meant for Muslims of Kashmir alone but were for the entire territory and were indeed brought by Maharaja Rule to save the Dogra culture.

“The darkness that started here after August 5, 2019 has engulfed Jammu also and people here are too much worried with the sequence of events,” she further said. »

Srinagar, November 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India is violating all democratic rights enshrined in UN Charter as CASOs, killings, torture, daily humiliations, mass graves have become a norm in the territory.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said, India claims to be the largest democracy in the world, but the claim is a big fraud. This is what is being experienced by the Muslims, Dalits and other minorities in the territory. In occupied Kashmir, cordon and search operations, killings, torture, daily humiliations and mass graves have become a norm. The report said that New Delhi was violating all democratic rights given under UN Charter in IIOJK on daily basis. The state of democracy inside India is also poor.

Srinagar, November 09 (KMS) (KMS): In Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in order to speed up the process of demographic change, the Modi-led fascist Indian government has identified at many places more land for establishment of camps and colonies for its forces and government employees.

Revenue officials have marked over 500 kanals of land just in Chitterhama and Khimber highlands of Srinagar for CRPF personnel. The locals told media that the forcibly snatched land was comprised of meadows and pastures, which was meant for grazing of their animals. »

Muzaffarabad, November 09 (KMS): An important meeting of various political and religious parties and civil society organizations was held in Muzaffarabad, today, against the worst kind of atrocities and human rights violations by Indian troops on innocent Kashmiris in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The participant of the meeting rejected all unilateral measures taken by the Indian government in IIOJK, calling them a violation of the UN Charter and basic human rights. It was said in the meeting that only people of IIOJK reserve the right to decide their political future. The meeting also discussed malicious measures taken by the Indian rulers such as division of Kashmir into union territories, planned attacks on the Muslim identity of the territory and issuance of domicile to Indian citizens. »

Srinagar, November 09 (KMS): In Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a civilian died in police custody, in Islamabad district.

The detained youth Shahzad Ahmad was in custody since one year. He died in the police custody in Mattan jail, Islamabad.

Meanwhile, people took to streets against the anti-people policies of Modi-led Indian establishment, at Fruit Mandi in Sopore. The protesters said that Indian government was playing with their business by closing Srinagar-Jammu highway for public transport since long time. They said that their apple crop was bound to parish due to the closure of the highway. »

London, November 09 (KMS): The leadership of Organisation of Kashmir Coalition (OKC) has called upon US President elect Joe Biden and Vice President elect Kamala Harris to keep the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in their priority agenda.

Reminding Mr Biden of his advice to India “…take all necessary steps to restore rights of all the people of Jammu and Kashmir” during his election campaign, OKC leaders Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl and Barrister A Majeed Tramboo forwarded a congratulatory letter to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris upon their resounding victory in the US Presidential election. »

Islamabad, November 09 (KMS): The Convener of AJK chapter of Mirwaiz led Hurriyat forum, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi has urged US President-elect Joe Biden and Vice-President-elect Kamala Harris to impress upon India to resolve the Kashmir dispute as per relevant resolutions of the United Nations.

Syed Faiz Naqshbandi in a letter addressed to Biden and Harris said, “The people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir hope that the United States under your dynamic leadership will persuade the Indian government to resolve the longstanding Kashmir dispute as per the UN resolutions and to restore Kashmiris’ fundamental freedoms. »

Srinagar, November 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops launched cordon and search operations in different areas of north and south Kashmir.

The troops sealed all entry and exit points in Bomai area of Sopore and launched the operation. The house-to-house search operations were going on till last reports came in.

The troops also conducted search operations in several areas of Kupwara, Baramulla, Pulwama and Kulgam districts.

Islamabad, November 09 (KMS): Acting Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) Mehmood Ahmed Saghar while greeting the US President elect, Joe Biden on his historic win, has expressed hope that he will play his pivotal role in seeking a peaceful settlement of the long-pending Kashmir dispute.

In a statement issued in Islamabad on Monday, the DFP leader while referring to America’s longstanding position on Kashmir, said, “The people of Kashmir hope that the US under the dynamic leadership of President Joe Biden will persuade India to restore fundamental freedoms in Kashmir”. »
