Yasin Malik to continue to head JKLF as party undergoes reorganization » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, November 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Supreme Council of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has unanimously decided to retain Muhammad Yasin Malik as party chairman.

The Supreme Council at a meeting in Srinagar also decided not to dissolve Jammu and Kashmir Student Liberation Front. The Diplomatic Unit headed by Professor Raja Zafar Khan will also continue its work as interim set-up. The party dissolved zonal organisations including Supreme Council.

A 41-member Central Committee headed by senior leader Khawaja Saifuddin has been formed. The members of the Central Committee will complete the process of organizing at the grassroots level in their respective zones. Senior leader of the party, Raja Haq Nawaz Khan has been nominated as the Convener of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan zone.

The meeting strongly condemned Indian state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and vowed to take all possible steps at the political and diplomatic levels to expose the ugly face of the Narendra Modi-led Indian government to the world.

The participants of the meeting reiterated their commitment to continue their sacrifices at all levels for securing right to self-determination.
