Washington DC, November 20 (KMS): At a panel discussion, international experts on genocidal violence warned the impending danger of ‘genocide’ of India’s 200 Million Muslims under the watch of present Indian regime. They alerted the international community to wake up to this lurking danger as unfolding situation in India is grim.

The panel discussion on “Ten Stages of Genocide and India’s Muslims,” expressed an urgent need to not only’ indict and sanction’ the Indian government, but to also expose it in the international community to prevent crimes against humanity. The discussion was organized by the Indian American Muslim Council.

In his opening remarks, Dr Gregory Stanton said, “Preparation for genocide is definitely under way in India.” He explained, “The persecution of Muslims in Assam and Kashmir is the stage just before genocide. The next stage is extermination—that’s what we call genocide.” »

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, has called for resolving the Kashmir dispute through meaningful and result-oriented dialogue process among Pakistan, India and the real Kashmiri leadership for ensuring permanent peace in the region.

Professor Abdul Ghani Butt addressing public meetings in Pampore area of Pulwama said, the entire South Asia is in danger of war which will, if happens, devastate the whole world, particularly the region. He maintained that India should shun its hegemonic attitude and accept the harsh reality of Kashmir as a dispute and settle it through a dialogue process. Professor Butt said that the international community had a moral duty and responsibility to put pressure on New Delhi to resolve the Kashmir dispute according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. He added that the Kashmiris are rendering sacrifices for a sacred cause which will be rewarded in the form of freedom. »

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (DPM), Khawaja Firdous, paying rich tributes to the martyrs of Aali Kadal, Srinagar, has reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the mission of their martyrs till complete success.

Khawaja Firdous addressing a Juma congregation at Jamia Masjid Nagbal in Srinagar said that all martyrs of Kashmir including Aali Kadal martyrs had laid down their lives for the Kashmir cause and their sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste. »

Was Kashmir being readied for demographic change even before Article 370  was removed?Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement (JKEM) has deplored that India is trying to bring about demographic change in the territory.

A spokesman of JKEM in a statement issued in Srinagar said the Indian move is violation of the United Nations resolutions and the international law. The Modi-led fascist Indian government is conspiring to turn the Muslim majority of IIOJK into a minority but the Kashmiri people will never allow such nefarious intentions to succeed, he added. »

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the High Court has quashed detentions of three persons and directed the authorities to release them forthwith.

The bench of Justice Sanjeev Kumar, while quashing detention of Rashid Ahmad Shah, Majid Ali Matto and Amir Hussain Butt, who had been booked under black law, Public Safety Act (PSA) last year has directed the authorities to release them immediately.

The three had challenged their PSA detentions in separate habeas corpus petitions before the Court.

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Samad Inqilabi has said that the so-called District Development Council (DDC) elections in the territory hold no significance for the oppressed Kashmiri people.

Abdul Samad Inqilabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that by holding such sham elections, India had always hoodwinked the international community. He added that the disputed status of Kashmir could not be affected by such elections. »

The JKMM spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Indian police were unnecessarily and without any reasons harassing the family of Abdul Majeed Mir during house raids in Kareemabad area of Pulwama. He said that last night Indian police during a raid vandalized the household goods and harassed the family members. »

904 martyred, 107,808 orphaned since January 1989


Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism have martyred 904 children during the last thirty one years.

A report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service on the occasion of the World Children Day, today, revealed that 904 children were among the 95,723 people martyred by Indian troops from January 01, 1989 till date. The report said that the killing of civilians by the troops rendered 107,808 children orphaned in the territory during the period. »

Islamabad, November 20 (KMS): Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement, Qazi Imran, has strongly condemned the forcible eviction of Gujjar Bakarwal people from their land by the Indian government in Rajouri district of Jammu region.

Qazi Imran in a statement issued in Islamabad said that after August 05, 2019, India was forcibly evicting the oppressed Kashmiris from their land to settle Indian citizens in the territory, which is illegal. »

Noted Journalist Mudasir Ali Is No More | Kashmir LifeSrinagar, November 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, noted journalist, Mudasir Ali, died of cardiac arrest on Friday morning.

The deceased was a senior correspondent of the Srinagar-based English daily Greater Kashmir. He was around 37.

Meanwhile, Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) has condoled the sad demise of Mudasir Ali and prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to his family to bear this loss.
