Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): Indian forces continue to kill Kashmiris and destroy their properties by using chemical weapons in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir despite the fact that the world is observing the Day of Remembrance for all Victims of Chemical Warfare, today.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said, although chemical weapons have been banned but India is using them against Kashmiris in violation of the Chemical Weapon Convention that prohibits the use of chemical and biological weapons even in war, what to talk of against civilian populations like in IIOJK.  »

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Indian Hurriyat leader, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori has expressed grave concern over the plight of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails of India and the territory.

Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that Hurriyat leaders, activists and thousands of Kashmiri youth who were arrested before and after August 5, last year, were still in Tihar, Jodhpur, Agra, Haryana and other jails of India. »

New Delhi, November 30 (KMS): The adoption of a resolution on Kashmir by Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has unnerved India, which said that the OIC issued the declaration in favour of Kashmir at the behest of Pakistan.

Indian Ministry of External Affairs in a statement issued in New Delhi said, “We strongly and categorically reject the factually incorrect, gratuitous and unwarranted references to India in resolutions adopted by the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) at the 47th CFM Session in Niamey.” »

Srinagar, Nov 30 (KMS) A Kashmiri, Dr Khalid Muajsam Batoo, has been listed in the world top two percent scientists in Physics category of Stanford University, USA.

The university prepared the list based on high citation of papers published by scientists or authors and Dr Khalid from Baramulla received his PhD degree from applied physics department of Aligarh Muslim University in 2009. He is the recipient of the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) from inter-university accelerator center, New Delhi in 2007.

He joined King Abdullah institute for nanotechnology at King Saud University in 2010 as assistant professor and was promoted as associate professor in 2015. »

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): People’s Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti while saying that elections are no solution to the Kashmir dispute has called for a dialogue between Pakistan and India to address the decades-old issue.

Mehbooba Mufti talking to media persons at her residence in Srinagar said, “Election is no solution to the Kashmir problem. There should be a dialogue between the two countries. If we are talking to China, which has taken our land, why not to Pakistan? Is it about being a Muslim country because everything is communal, now?” »

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have welcomed the OIC for adopting a strong and comprehensive resolution in favour of the Kashmir cause.

Jammu and Kashmir Muslim conference Chairman Shabbir Ahmed Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the OIC’s resolution was timely and eye-opening for those who were beating drums and saying that Kashmir was not on its agenda. The Indian stooges and Indian media as usual were spreading propaganda, he said. The Indian media was flashing news about Pakistan´s so-called isolation and about their deceptive and misleading policies bearing fruit. But now their reaction of slamming OIC leadership and rejecting the resolution speaks volumes about their dichotomy and duplicity. »

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police arrested a youth in Kupwara district.

The youth was arrested by Indian police in Dragmulla area of the district.

The police also seized Rs 3.5 lakh cash from the youth, a senior police officer said.

On the other hand, an ailing Sub-Inspector of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) died under mysterious conditions in Damhal Hanjipora area of Kulgam district on Monday. »

Jammu, November 30 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Muslim activists, including former bureaucrats referring to anti-Muslim designs of Hindu extremists associated with RSS and BJP have said that some elements are making deliberate attempts to harm the communal harmony especially in the Jammu region.

Former bureaucrat Khalid Hussain and advocate Sheikh Shakeel Ahmad at a press conference said that Muslims of the Jammu region do not need a certificate from anyone to prove their loyalty. »

Jammu, November 30 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Association (JKPA) has strongly condemned the illegal detention of party Coordinator, Sayed Tajamul Imran.

The JKPA Chairman, Aquib Wani in a statement issued in Jammu said that Sayed Tajamul Imran was booked under notorious Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) law three months ago for organising a cricket tournament in memory of his deceased brother. »
