Srinagar, December 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, brutal torture techniques employed by Indian troops have left thousands of Kashmiris disabled for life including 139 losing eyesight in the firing of pellets on peaceful protesters in the territory.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service in connection with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, today, said, among the most brutal tactics used by Indian troops to disable Kashmiris include firing of bullets, pellets, PAVA and teargas shells during anti-India protests as well as resorting to severe beatings, electric shock, crushing the leg muscles with a wooden roller, burning with heated objects and hanging upside down in interrogation centers. »

Srinagar, December 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), an Indian trooper molested a woman in Baramulla district.

The 36-year-old woman was molested by the Hawaldar in the Indian Army in Uri area of the district. »

Srinagar, December 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairperson of Muslim Khawateen Markaz, Yasmeen Raja, Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen Chairperson Zamruda Habib and rights activist, Muhammad Ashan Untoo have strongly condemned the inhuman act of molesting a woman by an Indian soldier in Uri area of Baramulla district.

Yasmeen Raja in a statement issued in Srinagar urged the international human rights groups to take notice of such heinous crimes committed by Indian forces in IIOJK. »

Srinagar, December 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two Indian soldiers committed suicide in Kupwara and Shopian districts.

The Border Security Forces’ head constable shot himself with his service rifle, while on duty in Tanghdar area of Kupwara district.

Another Indian army soldier shot himself dead with his service rifle during duty hours at Zawoora Manloo in Shopian district.

The cause of taking this extreme step remains unknown for the time being, the officials said. »

Srinagar, December 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Peoples Freedom League has strongly denounced a wave of human rights abuses and atrocities committed by Indian troops across the territory and very recently in the HMT area of Srinagar.

Srinagar, December 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Muzahamat, Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui has hailed the stand taken by OIC in its recently concluded session.

Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the resolution passed by the Council of Foreign Ministers of OIC on Kashmir as an eye opener for New Delhi.

He said that despite using its full propaganda machinery and diplomatic offence on international level to hoodwink the world community about its illegal and immoral stand about Kashmir, the world has never sided with its bundle of lies but time and again supported the legitimate struggle of people of IIOJK for their right to self-determination. »

ImageSrinagar, December 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops terrorized people and ransacked their properties in Srinagar city.

Indian troops in their violent cordon and search operation threatened and harassed people and broke public property in Khanyar area of city, locals told media men.

The forces’ personnel smashed window panes of various houses, front-back windsscreens of two cars and windows of load carriers, the locals added. However, the people demanded action against the forces involved in such brutal actions. »

Srinagar, December 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the High Court has quashed detention order under draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) against a man from Shopian and ordered the authorities to release him forthwith.

A resident of Allyalpora, Shopian, Waseem Ahmad Sheikh, had through his father, Bashir Ahmad Sheikh, filed the petition last year against his detention order passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Shopian on 10th August 2019. »

Jammu, December 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, founder of Panthers Party, Prof Bhim Singh has said that the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) led Indian government is committing fraud with the Kashmiri people in the name of District Development Council (DDC) elections.

Prof Bhim Singh addressing media persons in Jammu said that democracy and the DDC elections in the territory had been apparently hijacked by the present Indian government and their agents in IIOJK. »
