Srinagar, December 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Chairman, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo has strongly condemned the terror tactics being employed by Indian forces on highways connecting Kashmir to Jammu.
Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the troops stop traffic at least 20 to 30 places from Kupwara to Qazigund wasting precious hours of the commuters. Even ambulances are stopped, which many times result in the death of patients, he added.
He said that the commuters who travel daily on these roads have to pay a heavy price for living under alien occupation as Indian troops take pleasure in causing mental and physical trauma to them. The rights activist urged the international community to intervene to provide some kind of relief to Kashmiris from Modi-led fascist India.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Dar and Mohammad Ahsan Untoo visited Soura hospital in Srinagar and enquired about the health of ailing Tehreeq-i-Istiqlal Chairman, Gulam Nabi Waseem.
Gulam Nabi Waseem has serious health issues and has gone for bone marrow and biopsy tests whose report is awaited. The doctors at the hospital said that he needed advanced medical care. The leaders then visited the family members of some Hurriyat activists, who were also undergoing treatment at the hospital.
