Islamabad, December 09 (KMS): Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, has said that India’s policies based on Hindutva ideology have threatened peace and stability of the entire region.

He was speaking at a consultative meeting about regional security and Pakistan’s priorities in Islamabad on Wednesday.

The Minister said Pakistan has presented undeniable and solid evidence before the world through the dossier about India’s sponsorship of terrorism inside Pakistan. »

Islamabad, December 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops have intensified their killing spree in the territory to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination.

An analytical report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, on International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide and of the Prevention of this Crime, said that Indian troops brutally killed three more youth in Tiken area of Pulwama district, today.

It said following Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government’s 5th August 2019 illegal action, fears of genocide in IIOJK have increased manifold. It maintained that even international experts have warned of impending danger of genocide in the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, December 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, six persons including a woman were injured in a grenade blast in Pattan area of Baramulla district, today.

Unidentified persons hurled a grenade on the Indian forces which missed the target and exploded on road in Singhpora area of Pattan. Six civilians including a woman were injured in the blast. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. »

Srinagar, December 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Working Vice Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar, while expressing grave concern over the dire human rights situation in the territory has urged the international community to take notice of the ongoing Indian atrocities and human rights violations.

Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar on eve of World Human Rights Day said that it is the responsibility of the international community to stop Indian atrocities on the Kashmiri people and resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant UN resolutions. He said Indian occupational forces have broken all records of oppression against the people of Kashmir and added that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the UN General Assembly on December 10, 1948, was an important milestone for human rights and freedoms but despite this international document, the political and human rights of the Kashmiri people continue to be violated. »

Srinagar, December 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that for past three decades the abysmal human rights situation due to the lingering conflict has shown no sign of improvement.

The Hurriyat forum in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, on the eve of World Human Rights Day, said, the human rights situation has only worsened for people of Kashmir with time, being taken to another level since August 5, last year, with enforcement of unprecedented lockdowns extra-judicial measures and communication gags. “The people in this Muslim majority territory are being punished by those in power just for being that – a Muslim majority,” it said. »

Srinagar, December 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations on the eve of International Human Rights Day remembered all those who have been victim of Indian state terrorism in the territory.

Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Chairman, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, and Mahaz-e-Azadi President, Mohammad Iqbal Mir, in a joint statement in Srinagar said at a time when the global community is set observe world human rights day, tomorrow, “we in Kashmir want to remind it that Kashmiris are also humans and criminal silence maintained by the world is a covert support to the violators of the human rights.”

They said, “India has been trampling all civil and democratic rights in IIOJK with impunity as the world remains a mute spectator because of economic considerations.” They said Kashmir has become an epicenter of the highest kind of Indian state terrorism. They urged the UN and member states to come forward and stop India from violating human and political rights of millions of Kashmiris in the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, December 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and Chairman of Kashmir Freedom Front, Syed Bashir Andrabi, has strongly condemned grave human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian troops in the territory.

Syed Bashir Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Kashmiri people could not be intimidated into submission through such brutal tactics. »

Srinagar, December 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district, today.

The youth were killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Tiken area of the district. One person was also injured due to the firing of the troops during the CASO. The operation continued till last reports came in.

A senior police officer talking to media men claimed that the youth were militants and were killed in an encounter with the troops. »

Islamabad, December 09 (KMS): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that no minority including Muslims, Dalits, Sikhs and Christians are safe in India.

In a statement, he pointed out that India has introduced controversial legislation such as Citizens Amendment Act and NRC to crush the minorities.

The Foreign Minister said the whole world is witnessed to Delhi riots in which several Muslims were killed and properties on large scale were ransacked.

He said the construction of temple at the site of Babri mosque reflects the Hindutuva mindset.

The Foreign Minister said Indian forces are persecuting Muslims in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Islamabad, December 09 (KMS): Pakistan has asked The Netherlands to stress upon India to lift the military siege, stop the ongoing gross violations of human rights in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu (IIOJK).

Special Secretary for Europe Dr. Aman Rashid said this at the 8th round of Pakistan-The Netherlands Bilateral Political Consultations during a virtual meeting. The Dutch delegation was led by Director-General for Political Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Netherlands Thijs van der Plas.

Dr. Aman Rashid also said that India should be asked and take steps towards peaceful solution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions. »
