Jammu, December 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Poonch district.

The youth were killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Dugran along the Mughal road in Poonch district on Sunday.

The operation was underway till filing of the report. More details are awaited.

Rich tributes paid to Sufi Akbar, Shams-Ul-Haq

Srinagar, December 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir has said that over one million Indian troops are deployed in cities, towns and villages to brutally suppress Kashmiri people, pro-freedom leaders and human rights activists.

TeH spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, said, the plight has deepened for Kashmiris on an unprecedented scale since 5th of August 2019 illegal measures by Modi-led fascist Indian government. He said, Kashmiri people of all age groups, especially youth, are the worst victims of Indian state terrorism.

Hurriyat leaders Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui and Shabbir Ahmed Dar in their statements in Srinagar paid rich tributes to Mahaz-e-Azadi founder, Sufi Mohammad Akbar and renowned Islamic scholar Shams-ul-Haq on their anniversaries. They said that living nations do not forget their brave hearts who sacrificed their lives for the collective cause of their people.

Human rights defender Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in a media interview in Srinagar deplored the Nov 27 merciless mass beating in Aban Shah, Srinagar, and the murder of three cousins by Indian troops with impunity in Shopian. »

Srinagar, December 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid rich tributes to Mahaz-e-Azadi founder, Sufi Mohammad Akbar and renowned Islamic scholar Shams-ul-Haq on their anniversaries.

Senior Hurriyat leader Ghulam Mohammad Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the living nations do not forget their brave hearts in any way who sacrificed their lives for the Kashmir cause. He said, the best way to pay tribute to the martyrs is to remember their mission and renew the pledge that the struggle to achieve the goal will be continued at all costs. He added that Shaheed Shams-ul-Haq was an educated person and a shining star of Kashmir associated with the Islamic movement, who was blessed by Allah Almighty with his grace both in terms of character and appearance. »

Srinagar, December 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, one million Indian troops are deployed in cities, towns and villages to brutally suppress Kashmiris, freedom activists, human rights activists and institutions as serious rights violations continue with impunity in the territory.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, quoting human rights activists, said, the plight of Kashmiris has increased on an unprecedented scale since 5 Aug 2019 illegal measures. They said, Kashmiris of all age groups are facing brutal military siege.

Human rights defender Muhammad Ahsan Untoo said, the Human Rights Commission, a statutory rights body which heard cases of rights violations was rendered ineffective when India scrapped the special status of Jammu and Kashmir on Aug. 5 last year. Untoo deplored that mass beating in Aban Shah, Srinagar, and the murder of three cousins by Indian troops in Shopian in fake encounter could not have been heard by any proper investigation body.

Srinagar, December 13 (KMS): A boat carrying BJP activists capsized in Dal Lake, Srinagar, during an election rally led by party leaders, among others including Anurag Thakur and Tarun Chugh.

The party had organised a boat rally in Dal Lake and one of the boats carrying several activists capsized near Ghat No.17 adjacent to Chaar Chinary. However, all were rescued immediately. »

Jammu, December 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces have launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Poonch district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the CASO has been launched in villages along Mughal Road in Surankote sub-division in the district.

Officials said that there were reports of suspected movement in areas along Mughal Road after which Indian army and police launched searches in Poshana and Dugran areas.

Addressing a function in Jammu held in connection with grim human rights situation in IIOJK, Aquib Wani criticized the world community for keeping silence over Indian atrocities in the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, December 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two civilians were injured after unknown men lobbed a grenade in Baramulla district.

The grenade attack took place in Sopore area of the district.

An official said that two civilians, identified as Bilal Ahmad and Shakir Ahmad Malik, both residents of Sopore, were injured when a grenade was lobbed on a police post near bus stand in Sopore town.

Srinagar, December 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a Power Development Department lineman was electrocuted to death after receiving an electric shock while repairing a faulty line in Machil sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday.

An official said that the lineman died of electric shock on duty in Naad area of Machil. »
