Kashmiris being implicated in fake cases

Srinagar, December 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has reiterated the Kashmiris’ pledge to continue their just struggle till they achieve the inalienable right to self-determination.

Talking to people at his residence in Srinagar, Professor Butt called upon the international community to facilitate a sustained dialogue process between Pakistan and India to resolve the internationally-accepted Kashmir dispute. He condemned the grave human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian troops in the territory saying that Indian brutalities could not deter the Kashmiris from pursuing their freedom goal. »

Srinagar, December 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has called upon the world to facilitate a sustained dialogue process between Pakistan and India to resolve the internationally-accepted Kashmir dispute.

While interacting with people from Badgam district, Professor Butt vowed to continue the struggle for right to self-determination and hoped that the world has started changing for good. »

Srinagar, December 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Modi-led fascist Indian government has forced dwellers to stay indoors and shopkeepers to shut their business in the name of so-called election drama being held in Islamabad district and other parts of the territory.

The troops are forcing shopkeepers to shut their businesses particularly in Islamabad and Sagam areas. “The troops on Monday came to us and asked us to shut down our shops in view of the elections scheduled on 16 December,” a shopper from Lal Chowk area of Islamabad town said. »

Identifies land to set up colony for Indian troops

Srinagar, December 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Narendra Modi-led Indian government has intensified its efforts to change the demographic composition of the territory.

In its latest assault on the Muslim majority status of IIOJK, the Modi government has identified 200 kanals or 25 acre land in Budgam district to set up colony for Indian soldiers.

Since coming to power in 2014, the RSS-backed Modi government is leaving no stone unturned to convert the Muslim majority of IIOJK into a minority by bringing in Indian Hindus and permanently settling them in the territory. After revoking the special status of IIOJK, it introduced new domicile and land ownership laws to pave way for the Indian citizens to grab land in the territory. It has granted domicile certificates to thousands of Indian Hindus till date. »

Srinagar, December 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Jammu and Kashmir Chairman, Mohammad Ahsan Untoo has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health condition of Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson Syeda Aasiya Andrabi languishing in Indian jail for the past four years.

Mohammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Aasiya Andrabi who is currently imprisoned in New Delhi’s notorious Tihar jail is undergoing mental and physical trauma. She has developed many serious ailments while the authorities have denied basic health facilities to the detained Kashmiri woman leader. »

Jammu, December 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement, Mir Shahid Saleem, has said that Indian government led by Narendra Modi has unleashed a war of terror against minorities.

Mir Shahid Saleem expressed these views while addressing a protest rally in Jammu organized by various social and human rights organizations in support of the ongoing farmers’ movement in India. »

Islamabad, December 15 (KMS): The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League has paid rich tributes to a renowned and leading commander and leader of the 1980s and 1990s freedom uprising, Abdul Khaliq Ganai alias Jamal Afghani.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Abdul Khaliq Ganai was arrested in Kupwara and martyred in custody 0n 15 December 1993, after spending his youth in organising the people of Kashmir for the cause of freedom and right of self-determination from 1970s to 1990s.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said that he was a great patriot who spread the message of liberation everywhere and was so popular for his simplicity and sincerity that thousands of people joined his funeral at Bandipore and life remained paralyzed for 3 days across Kashmir. He equally remembered associates of the martyred commander who were martyred in the succeeding months and years in encounters or police custody. »

Srinagar, December 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the patron of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JKMM), Farida Bahenji, has demanded immediate release of all illegally detained Kashmiris including Hurriyat leaders and activists.

Srinagar, December 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, people are being put behind bars for no crime other than political beliefs.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said that framing fake cases against Kashmiri people is mere frustration of Modi-led fascist Indian government, which is using National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) to break Hurriyat leadership’s resolve for right to self-determination. India is employing its probe agencies to malign Kashmiris’ just and principled struggle for freedom.

“More than 13,000 Kashmiris have been put behind bars since 5 August 2019, while 161,163 were arrested in during the past 30 years in IIOJK. However, Hurriyat leadership is determined not to succumb to NIA and ED onslaught.” »
