Srinagar, December 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces, today, arrested the All Parties Hurriyat Conference working vice-chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar and General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmed from their residences in Srinagar.

The forces’ personnel raided the residences of the APHC leaders, during Maghrib prayers, harassed their family members and arrested them. »

New Delhi, December 21 (KMS): A Delhi court on Monday ordered framing of charges against illegally detained Hurriyat leader, Aasiya Andrabi and her two associates in false cases.

Special Judge, Parveen Singh ordered to put Aasiya Andrabi and her associates — Sofi Fehmeeda and Nahida Nasreen — on trial for various cases. The charges are scheduled to be formally framed on January 18.

Aasiya Andrabi, Fehmeeda Sofi and Nahida Nasreen were arrested in April 2018 and have been languishing in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar jail. »

Srinagar, December 21 (KMS): Fruit growers in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have joined the protest by farmers, mostly Sikhs, across India as they believe that BJP led Modi govt is working only for projection of Hindus and targeting Sikh community.

Kashmiri fruit growers closed their businesses in solidarity with protesting Sikh farmers. The Kashmiri fruit growers and merchants said that they stand with protesting Indian farmers during these tough times.

Srinagar, December 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir National Front (JKNF) while voicing its serious concern over the Indian government’s move to establish soldier colony in Budgam has said that the sinister move reflects the colonial mindset of the present regime in New Delhi.

Srinagar, December 21 (KMS): Former puppet Chief Minister of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti has attacked the fascist Modi government for inviting the outsiders to settle in IIOJK and rendering the native Kashmiris homeless.

Mehbooba Mufti said this after addressing a gathering at Chadoora in Badgam. Criticising New Delhi for abrogation of special status of IIOJ&K, Mufti said, “With the abrogation of Article 370, barbaric laws are being extended here to suppress the Kashmiri people. I along with other leaders will not allow India to implement such laws in Jammu and Kashmir and will resist such move on all fronts.”

“Since our domicile law was scrapped, New Delhi is bringing people from across India, while people from IIOJK are being evicted. They are pushed to the wall and are being forced to take harsh steps,” she said while referring to people who have asked to vacate the forest land. »

Srinagar, December 21 (KMS): An article published in Nikkei Asia, the world’s leading financial newspaper, says that Kashmir is a developing flashpoint among three nuclear powers, Pakistan, India and China.

The newspaper writes that there has always been the threat of war looming over Kashmir that is not only in areas bordering with Pakistan — it is also across the border with China. “If this converts into a two-front war, then India faces an unprecedented threat that it does not appear adequately prepared for.”

Srinagar, December 21 (KMS): Indian authorities detained two Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The PDP members, Sartaj Madani, uncle of Mehbooba Muft and Peer Mansoor were detained by the authorities on Monday.

The authorities in June this year had revoked black law PSA detention against the duo together alongside former IAS officer-turned-politician Shah Faisal. »

Srinagar, December 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori was injured in a road accident in Sopore.

Khan Sopori had gone to Nowpora, Bandipora, for condolence. After offering condolence, while waiting for a vehicle on the road, a speeding vehicle hit Khan Sopori and injured him.

Khan Sopori was shifted to Sopore hospital where he was discharged after treatment. His leg is fractured and doctors have advised him complete rest.
