Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that the Kashmir freedom movement will continue despite the Modi-led fascist Indian government’s ongoing large-scale crackdown operation against the Hurriyat leadership.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar denounced the arrest of scores of Hurriyat leaders, human rights activists and youth during massive crackdown operations in length and breadth of the territory. He said that the Kashmir movement under the dynamic leadership of APHC is mainly run by the Kashmiri youth and students. »

Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, journalists representing different media associations on Tuesday staged a sit-in protest in Bandipora against the authorities’ attitude towards the fraternity, particularly during the staged District Development Council elections.

Denouncing the treatment meted out to the fraternity, the President of Bandipora Journalist Association, Mohammad Syed Beigh criticized the authorities for discouraging media persons to cover the election drama. “There are no proper arrangements for the media and we are being made to move from pillar to post from early morning.” »

Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters have once again appeared in Srinagar and other areas appealing people to wage a united freedom struggle against the Indian occupation of their motherland.

The posters were displayed by Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League. JKPL Chief Organizer Dr Sarfaraz Ahmad Khan and Coordinator Shaikh Nazir Ahmad in their joint statement said the Kashmiris ‘ struggle is for just demand of freedom from Indian illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir . »

Islamabad, December 22 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter (APHC-AJK) at an emergency meeting in Islamabad today strongly denounced the arrest of APHC Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar, and General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmed, by Indian police in Srinagar.

Hurriyat leaders at the meeting presided over by the APHC-AJK Convener, Muhammad Hussain Khatib, said that the Indian police raided the residences of the Hurriyat leaders, arrested them and harassed their families. They said that India would never succeed in suppressing the resolve the Hurriyat leadership through arrests and other brutal tactics. »

Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, High Court, today, dismissed the Public Interest Litigation related to Shopian fake encounter in which three innocent youth were killed by Indian troops in July, this year.

The court asked the applicants to approach toothless National Human Rights Commission if they have any grievance of human rights violation. »

Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops arrested three Kashmiris including Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement Secretary Information, Abdul Rasheed Lone.

The troops arrested Rasheed Lone during a raid on his Nageen residence in Srinagar, early this morning. The troops also harassed the inmates. »

Jammu, December 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir People’s Association (JKPA) has expressed anguish over the arrest spree unleashed by authorities terming it as colonial treatment of Kashmiris.

In a statement issued in Jammu, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Association (JKPA), Aquib Wani said that Kashmir is the only territory in the world which has been turned into an open prison where respect for the rights and liberties is almost zero. »

Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement was held in Srinagar, which was presided over by APHC leader and party Chairman Khawaja Firdous. The meeting reviewed the current situation in the occupied territory.

Khawaja Firdous while addressing the meeting termed the holding of election drama in the name of District Development Council as a futile exercise. He said that Kashmiri people had rejected these elections and added that India had staged them to deceive the international community. »

Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, political activists, civil society members and human rights defenders have called upon the international community to pay heed to the sufferings of the Kashmiri people at the hands of brutal Indian occupational forces’ personnel.

The activists on condition of hiding their identity fearing reprisal from Modi-led fascist Indian government in their media interviews said that global rights bodies have been documenting abuses committed by Indian troops in IIOJK. They cited two successive reports released by UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in 2018 and 2019 on HR violations in Kashmir and demanded legal action against the perpetrators of inhuman actions against innocent Kashmiri people. »
