Islamabad, December 23 (KMS): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter of All Parties Hurriyat Conference staged a protest demonstration outside the United Nations office in Islamabad, today, against increasing Indian state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The protesters strongly condemned the incident of firing on a UN vehicle in Chakoti sector on the Line of Control and said that India deliberately targeted the vehicle so that the UN officials could not be informed about the plight of the people affected by the Indian firing. »

Srinagar, December 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, three personnel of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured in a grenade attack at Tawheed Chowk in Daderhama area of Ganderbal district on Wednesday.
An official told media that the personnel belonged to 118 BN CRPF came under the attack in Daderhama. »

Islamabad, December 23 (KMS): Foreign Office on Wednesday summoned Indian Charge d’Affaires to register Pakistan’s strong protest over ceasefire violation by the Indian occupational forces along the Line of Control on Tuesday.

In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said one innocent civilian was martyred and three other injured in indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by the Indian occupational forces in Hotspring and Jandrot Sectors of the LoC.

The Spokesperson said the Indian occupational forces have been continuously targeting with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars, and automatic weapons the civilian populated areas along the LoC and the Working Boundary. »

Srinagar, December 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces arrested six more Kashmiri youth during raids in Tral and Sangam areas of Islamabad district, today.

The raids were jointly conducted by Indian Army, police and Central Reserve Police Force. The detained youth were identified as Aijaz Ahmad Butt, Umer Jabar Dar, Suhail Ahmad Butt, Sameer Ahmad Lone, Mohammad Amin Khan and Rafiq Ahmad Khan. »

London, December 23 (KMS): British TV regulatory authority Ofcom has imposed a £20,000 fine on Republic Bharat, Republic TV’s Hindi channel, for hate speech against Pakistani people in a programme hosted by Indian anchor, Arnab Goswami.

Ofcom, which stands for Office of Communications, is the government-approved regulatory and competition authority for the broadcasting, telecommunications and postal industries of the United Kingdom

In a detailed note on its decision, Ofcom said that Republic Bharat’s Poochta Hai Bharat programme – the evening primetime show hosted by Arnab Goswami – had failed to comply with its broadcasting rules. »

Srinagar, December 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) has called for settling the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations to ensure permanent peace in South Asia.

The JKPL spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said peace and prosperity of entire South Asia, in general, and India and Pakistan, in particular, is at stake because of the lingering Kashmir dispute.

New Delhi, December 23 (KMS): A Jammu-based delegation led by Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum Chairman Devinder Singh Behl is participating in a sit-in protest in New Delhi to show solidarity with Indian farmers.

Indian farmers are protesting against the so-called agricultural laws, passed by Narendra Modi government.

Devinder Singh while talking to media persons during the sit-in in New Delhi said that Modi government has brought the laws to usurp the land of farmers. He said that he had come to show solidarity with the farmers and would present there till the issue was resolved. »
