Islamabad, December 25 (KMS): A seminar on the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and expression of solidarity with the Kashmiri people was organized under the auspices of Jammu and Kashmir Forum France and National Press Club Islamabad.

The seminar was chaired by President Jammu and Kashmir Forum France, Mirza Asif Jral, while Raja Zafarul Haq was special guest.

Speakers on the occasion paid homage to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. They said that Quaid-e-Azam had great attachment with Kashmir and this was evident from his visits to the territory. They said Kashmir and Pakistan are inseparable. »

Srinagar, December 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, today.

The troops cordoned off Kanigam village in Imamsahib area of the district and launched house-to-house searches. The operation continued till last reports came in.

Srinagar, December 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, on his 145th birth anniversary, today.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a great personality of the subcontinent under whose leadership the Muslims succeed in getting a separate ideological country for themselves. He said that the brutal policies targeting Muslims and other minorities in India and IIOJK, pursued by successive Indian governments in general, and the incumbent Modi-led fascist regime, in particular, proved that the Muslims of subcontinent were justified in demanding a separate homeland for themselves in 1947. »

The journalists were thrashed by the troops when they were covering a function sponsored by Indian Army in the town.

The Indian Army hosted Jashn-e-Baramulla in which Bollywood actress, Amisha Patel, was the chief guest, as per media reports. »

Security Forces Injure Citizens in Srinagar Attacks - The New York TimesSrinagar, December 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier was injured in a grenade blast in Baramulla district.

An Indian solider of Sahastra Sema Bal (SSB) was injured in the grenade explosion in Watergam area of the district.

An official said that a grenade was hurled at the SSB vehicle in Watergam area resulting in injuries to SSB personnel. He said that the injured SSB man was identified as CT Rakesh. »
