Srinagar, December 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Sahar Shabbir, daughter of illegally detained senior APHC leader, Sbabbir Ahmad Shah, has criticized the world for being silent over the illegal detention of her father in Indian jail during the past 33 years.

Sahar Shabbir in a video message, said that Shabbir Ahmad Shah and other Kashmiri political prisoners had been suffering illegal detention for raising their voice for the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination. They are languishing in jails without being provided justice, she added. »

Srinagar, December 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, police say an Indian army officer and two others planted illegally acquired weapons on the bodies of three young men to pass them off as “terrorists” after killing them in a staged gun battle in Shopian in July, this year, reported Turkish news channel TRT World.

IIOJK police have found that an Indian army officer and two associates planted weapons on the bodies of three labourers killed in the disputed Kashmir to make it look as though they were militants in a staged gun battle, the TV channel added. »

Srinagar, December 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian Military Intelligence (MI) hut was gutted in fire in the famous ski resort of Gulmarg in Baramulla district.

The hut was completely damaged as fire swept through the Indian Army hut in Gulmarg, though no one was injured in the incident.

“The cause of the fire was not immediately known, an Indian Army official said, adding a case has been registered and investigation is being conducting into ascertaining the cause of the fire. »

Muzaffarabad, December 28 (KMS): The Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir refugees have urged the United Nations to help find a just solution to the lingering Kashmir dispute.

A meeting of the representatives of the refugees, who migrated from IIOJK after 1990, was held in Muzaffarabad, today.

Jammu, December 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier committed suicide by shooting himself in Poonch district.

The soldier belonged to Border Security Force (BSF) was identified as constable PK Dass. He shot himself dead with his service rifle at BSF camp in Mendhar area of the district, officials said.

The reason behind taking such an extreme step by the soldier was not known immediately, the officials added. »

Srinagar, December 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JMMM) has said that the Indian government, is using its notorious National Investigation Agency to discredit the Hurriyat leadership and the freedom movement.

Shabbir Ahmed, JKMM Information Secretary, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said that after failing to weaken the resolve of the Kashmiris, India has now resorted to ugly tactics. He said that India had summoned the Hurriyat leaders to Delhi in the name of interrogation through the NIA with the aim of harassing and intimidating them. He said that the Indian administration has framed false cases against Muhammad Yasin Malik and Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi to suppress the voice of Kashmiri leaders. »

Islamabad, December 28 (KMS): Pakistan is deeply concerned over the continued incarceration and deteriorating health conditions of Kashmiri leaders.

This was stated by Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri in a statement on Monday.

These leaders include founding leader of Kashmiri organization “Dukhtaran-i-Millat” and the “Iron Lady of Kashmir”, Asiya Andrabi; leader and founder of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmed Shah; and prominent leaders such as Yasin Malik, Masarat Alam Bhat, Mohammad Ashraf Sehraie and others. They have been languishing under squalid conditions in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic in infamous Tihar and other jails.
Many other senior Kashmiri leaders including Syed Ali Shah Gilani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq remain under house arrest. »
