Srinagar, December 30 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations while paying glowing tributes to the three youth martyred by Indian troops in Srinagar, today, said that India should not forget that the use of force has failed to suppress the Kashmiris’ resolve for freedom.
Senior Hurriyat leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar said that living nations never forget their heroes who sacrifice their today for their tomorrow. He said that they are remembered for centuries and continue to serve as a source of strength for others. He said that the best way to pay homage to the martyrs is to be faithful to their mission.
A Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami Spokesman while paying tributes to the martyrs in a statement said that India was working on a well thought-out plan to weaken the Kashmiris physically and financially to deprive them of their birthright, right to self-determination.
He said that Kashmiris have been making great sacrifices for the last seven decades for freedom of their homeland from illegal Indian occupation. The spokesman said that despite all oppression, the Kashmiris are determined to take their freedom struggle to its logical conclusion
