Islamabad, January 01 (KMS): An anti-India protest demonstration was held under the auspices of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter outside the National Press Club in Islamabad, today.

The demonstration was organized against the ongoing killing spree unleashed by Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, the Hurriyat leaders said that India was committing systematic genocide of the Kashmiris to convert the Muslim majority of the territory into a minority. They said, India wants to change the demography in IIOJK by issuing domicile certificates to non-Kashmiris but the Kashmiri people will not allow it to succeed in its nefarious designs. »

Srinagar, January 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, today, held a protest demonstration in Srinagar against the killing of three youth by Indian troops in a fake encounter.

Holding placards with slogans like ‘Stop innocent killings’, ‘Stop genocide and fake encounters’ and ‘Civilian killings unacceptable’, the protesters also raised high-pitched anti-India and pro-freedom slogans. They also expressed solidarity with the families of the victims, who were killed in a fake encounter by Indian army in Srinagar two days ago. »

Muzaffarabad, January 01 (KMS): The International Forum for Justice and Human Rights held a protest demo in front of press club in Muzaffarabad, today, to condemn the killing of innocent youth by Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Islamabad, Jan 01 (KMS): Pakistan condemning the killing of another three Kashmiris in fake-encounter by Indian forces, called for international scrutiny into the extra-judicial killings in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

“Pakistan reiterates that nothing short of an inquiry under international scrutiny, can meet the requirements of justice,” it said in a statement. »

Srinagar, January 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred fourteen (14) Kashmiris including a young boy during the month of December in 2020.

According to a report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, of those martyred five youth were killed by the troops in fake encounters or in custody.

It said that the killings rendered two children orphaned in December. During the month, forty eight (48) people were critically injured due to the use of brute force, firing of pellets and teargas shells on peaceful demonstrators by Indian military, paramilitary and police personnel in the territory, it said. The report maintained that at least one hundred ninety eight (198) civilians, mostly youth and political activists, were arrested. The troops also molested, abused or disgraced two (2) women after barging into residential houses and damaged nine (9) houses during cordon and search operations in the month, it added. »

Islamabad, Jan 01 (KMS): The Hindu community of Pakistan has protested the killing of their 11 members in India, and urged the UN Secretary General to take notice of Indian government’s insensitivity and inaction to probe the case.

Dozens of the Hindu community members held protest demonstration before the Foreign Ministry and carried the placards condemning the mysterious killing and sought justice.

The protest was arranged by All Hindu Panchayat Balmike Sabha Pakistan and was addressed by President Pundit Chana Lal, Secretary General Oum Parkash Narain, District Rawalpindi President Dilip Kumar. »

Srinagar, January 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed in Srinagar and other areas, today, to condemn the killing of innocent youth by Indian troops in fake encounters.

Call for the shutdown was given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and was supported by Hurriyat organizations including Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party. Shops and business establishments were shut in Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian, Islamabad and other areas of the occupied territory against the killings. Indian troops killed three innocent Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter in Lawaypora area of Srinagar on Wednesday. Earlier, in July last year, three youth from Rajouri area of Jammu were killed by the troops in a fake encounter at Amshipora in Shopian.

ImageSrinagar, January 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the family of one of the three youth martyred by Indian troops in Lawaypora area of Srinagar, has vouched for his innocence and urged the authorities to hand over his body for burial.

The three martyred youth were identified as Zubair Ahmad, Aijaz Maqbool Ganai and Athar Mushtaq.

In an application addressed to the Lieutenant Governor of IIOJK, the maternal uncle and grandfather of Ajaz Maqbool have sought the body of their kin. »
