Jammu, January 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu-based Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement (JKPM) and Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum have strongly condemned the killing of three innocent boys in a fake encounter by Indian troops in Srinagar on Wednesday.

The JKPM Chairman, Mir Shahid Saleem while speaking at a meeting in Jammu said Indian troops, who are enjoying impunity under draconian Armed Forces Special Powers Act ( AFSPA) are on a killing spree. He said the innocent killings in Kashmir have become an order of the day and there is no accountability of the troops’ actions. He said the forces would continue to kill people until they are enjoying impunity under the AFSPA. »

Islamabad, January 03 (KMS): Pakistan has approached the United Nations Secretary General in New York and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva to seek immediate release of Kashmiri human rights activist and political leader, Aasiya Andrabi, incarcerated in infamous Tihar Jail in India.

The Spokesman for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release said it has been highlighted that Ms. Andrabi’s life is in danger owing to imminent risk of persecutory conviction by a sham court on 18 January 2020. »

Srinagar, January 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, in a video message, the father of 17-year-old Ather Wani, who was martyred along with two another innocent youth in a fake encounter by Indian troops at Lawaypora in Srinagar on Monday has demanded body of his martyred son saying he would wait for it till his whole life or would commit suicide.

After the denied the bodies of the three persons killed in the fake encounter on 30 December 2020, the father of Athar Wani has dug a grave in native Bellow village of Pulwama. »

Srinagar, January 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami has strongly condemned the increasing brutalities of Indian troops saying that Narendra Modi’s fascist regime is writing horrible history of crimes against humanity in the territory.

Aspokesperson for Tehreek-e-Wahdat in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory continued to be at its peak in 2020 and the troops martyred many innocent Kashmiri youth in fake encounters. »

Srinagar, January 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, MBBS students of Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences have staged a protest against the authorities for failing to address the grievances of the students as well general masses, saying that no surgeries were conducted for the past few months, as almost every medical college has been turned into a COVID-19 facility.

MBBS students who were joined by postgraduate students of the college held the protest at Press Enclave in Srinagar against the administration. »

Srinagar, January 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court has quashed detention of three persons booked under draconian law, Public Safety Act in 2019, saying that the detaining authority has failed to spell out compelling reasons for detentions.

Two separate single benches quashed detention orders of Mukhtar Ahmad Butt, Shopian and Ishfaq Ahmad Ganie, Pulwama, while a division bench quashed the detention of Amir Shafi Butt, Pulwama, after hearing their counsels and the administration through its counsel. »

Srinagar, January 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops conducted cordon and search operations in several villages of Rajouri and Gandarbal districts.

The troops arrested some youth during operations in Kadwan and Dharoon falling under the jurisdiction of Sunderban and Dharamsal police stations in Rajouri.

The troops also arrested a youth in Hatti pura village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district. A spokesman for the Indian army claimed on Twitter that the detained youth was an overground worker. However, locals denied the claim and said that the youth was an innocent civilian.
