Srinagar, January 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat organizations have warned that Narendra Modi’s muscular and undemocratic policies pose a serious threat to peace and security in South Asia urging the world to stand up against rising Hindutva tide and repression in IIOJK.

The Hurriyat organizations including Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League and Young Mens League in their separate statements in Srinagar said muzzling Kashmiris’ voice through military might is Modi’s brand of democracy, particularly in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. They, however, maintained that the volume of arrests of political leaders and activists by Indian forces in the territory testifies the fact that the Kashmiris are prepared for a long and arduous fight for the restoration of their rights. Jammu, January 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Association (JKPA) has said that Shopian fake encounter has proven how life of a Kashmiri is cheap for Indian occupational troops.

In a statement issued in Jammu, JKPA Chairman Aquib Wani said, the chargesheet of police authorities shows that Indian Army officers killed three innocent and unarmed boys for a cash reward of Rs 2 million which is highly shameful, unethical and immoral. “It is incumbent upon world bodies to take it seriously as it poses a great threat to life and security of Kashmiris,” he demanded. »

Islamabad, January 12 (KMS): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has that said India was supporting terrorist activities in Pakistan and thus posed a serious threat to the region’s peace.

In a statement, the Foreign Minister called upon the international community to take notice of India’s constant attempts to undermine peace in the region.

Islamabad, January 12 (KMS): Foreign Office has summoned a senior Indian diplomat in Islamabad today (Tuesday) to register Pakistan’s strong protest over ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation Forces along the Line of Control yesterday, resulting in serious injuries to a 10 year old boy.

In a statement, Foreign office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, said due to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by the Indian occupation forces in Nezapir Sectors of the LoC, a 10 year old Muhammad Zaheer s/o Muhammad Rafique, residents of Mohri village, sustained serious injuries. »

New York, January 12 (KMS): An Indian newspaper withdrew a fake story about a recent “visit” of Lisa Curtis, an aide to US President Donald Trump, to the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) following a rebuke from Ms. Curtis.

The story in The Deccan Herald is accompanied by a photograph of Ms. Curtis, deputy assistant to the outgoing president and senior director for South and Central Asia on the National Security Council, standing next to an Indian official at the foot of a snow-covered hill, without identifying the location.

“This photo was taken in January 2017 before I joined the (Trump) administration,” Ms. Curtis chided the newspaper on the Twitter. “This journalist should’ve fact-checked”, she added. »

Jammu, January 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a policeman and his wife committed suicide in Jammu, today.

The couple was found hanging from a ceiling fan at their residence at Gadigarh area by their family members on Monday evening.

“Tarvinder Singh had returned from the duty on Monday evening and found that his wife namely Parmeet Kour was hanging from the hook of the ceiling fan,” said SDPO Gandhi Nagar PK Mangi. He brought down the body of his wife and hanged himself from the hook of the ceiling fan, added the SDPO.
He was posted with Advocate General of Government, DC Raina in Jammu. »
