Healthcare system collapsing in Kashmir : New FrameSrinagar, January 16 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar, has appealed to the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to use their influence on India to settle the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly denounced the grave human rights violations being perpetrated by Indian troops across the occupied territory. He said that the recent extrajudicial killing of six youth in fake encounters in Shopian and Srinagar should serve as an eye-opener for the world community. Over 50 people were killed and hundreds others were injured when Indian troops had opened fire on peaceful protesters in Gaw Kadal area of Srinagar on January 21 in 1990. The demonstrators were protesting against the molestation of several women by the troops in the area. »

Srinagar, January 16 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Democratic Political Movement (DPM), Khawaja Firdous, has condemned the surge in arrest spree by Indian troops in the territory ahead of India’s Republic Day, the 26th January.

Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the troops were arresting, harassing and victimizing the Hurriyat activist and youth during house raids and crackdown operations in the territory. He said that the action was aimed preventing the people from holding anti-India demonstrations on the Indian Republic Day. Srinagar, January 16 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police arrested five youth in Pulwama district.

The police raided multiple places in Gulshanpora area of Tral in the district and arrested five youth.

The police booked the arrested youth identified as Jehangir Ahmad Parray, Aijaz Ahmad Parray, Towseef Ahmad Lone, Sabzaar Ahmad Butt and Qaisar Ahmad Dar under black law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention).

Islamabad, January 16 (KMS): Pakistan has made another diplomatic win against India as the British parliament strongly debated the worsening situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said.

“Pakistan has been exposing the ongoing Indian atrocities in IIOJK for long and now the same echo is being heard in the British Parliament, endorsing Pakistan’s stance against India,” the Foreign Minister said, regarding the debate on Kashmir which was held in the UK parliament.

The debate was moved in the House of Commons by Sarah Owen from Luton North on January 13, which attracted a huge response by the other parliamentarians on highlighting the deteriorating situation in IIOJK. »
