Srinagar, 01 February (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori has said that the Kashmiri people are fighting with big military power India for their birthright, right to self-determination and Pakistan is the only country in the world which supports their just struggle.

Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar appealed to Pakistan to more effectively highlight the Kashmir issue around the world. The peace struggle for freedom and the widespread human rights violations by Indian troops in the occupied territory should be raised at all global platforms, he stressed. »

Jammu, February 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Association (JKPA), Aquib Wani has said that minorities, in India, are fearing extinction because of the rise in mob lynching, cow vigilantism, honor killing and other such incidents.

Aquib Wani in a statement issued in Jammu said, “India is becoming a brutal authoritarian state which can be judged by recent oppression against protesting peasants on India’s Republic Day which has exposed the myth of India’s claim of world’s largest democracy.”

He further said that to pursue its evil agenda of Hindutva, RSS and BJP have unleashed a reign of terror against Muslims, Sikhs, Dalits and other minorities. »

Srinagar, February (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Chairman Shabbir Ahmed Dar has condemned the occupational authorities for lodging a case against two local news portals Kashmiriyat and Kashmirwala for reporting about 26 January incidents.

Shabbir Ahmad Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the news portals had filed stories about Indian troops forcibly taking the students of a local school in Shopian to celebrate the India’s Republic Day. “This is tantamount to expand the war on already under pressure media in the occupied territory,” he added.

“These incidents were, first, reported by the said two news portals and then by other media outlets,” he said and added that three teachers were already booked under draconian law Public Safety Act and students were also harassed by the troops. »
