Issues almost 34 Lac domicile certificates

Islamabad, February 02 (KMS): As part of its nefarious plan to change the demographic composition of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government has issued almost 34 lakh domicile certificates in the territory.

Indian Minister of State for Home, G K Reddy, in a written reply to a query, informed the Indian Parliament, today, that the authorities in IIOJK have issued a total of 3,380,234 Domicile Certificates till 25 January 2021.

Informed sources told KMS that hundreds of thousands of Indian Hindus are among the people who have been issued the domicile certificates. They maintained that now after acquiring the domicile certificates, these Indian citizens will get permanently settled in the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, February 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior APHC leader and President of Anjuman Sharie Shian Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has said that since the revocation of Kashmir’s special status on August 05, 2019, a plan is afoot to affect the disputed nature and Muslim majority status of the territory.

Agha Moosvi in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the escalating tension between nuclear-armed India and Pakistan and the continuation of unilateral measures taken by India in Jammu and Kashmir as a serious threat to peace and stability in the region. Referring to the UN Secretary General’s call for resolving the Kashmir dispute for ensuring durable peace in South Asia, he said the frequency of statements made by the United Nations on Kashmir is a reflection of the international community’s desire for a final solution to the Kashmir dispute. »

Srinagar, February 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference while urging the international community to increase its efforts for settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per UN Security Council resolutions has warned that the unresolved dispute poses a great threat to the global peace.

The APHC General Secretary Molvi Bashir Ahmed in a statement issued in Srinagar said the United Nations and the world powers have either forgotten the Kashmir dispute or they are deliberately ignoring it even though it is one of the oldest unresolved disputes on the agenda of the United Nations because of India’s traditional bigotry. »

Srinagar February 2 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, justice continues to elude the family of a young school boy Wamiq Farooq, who was martyred by Indian police in Srinagar, and five victims of Ajas massacre.

Wamiq was killed in a teargas shell fired by Indian police in Srinagar on 31 January in 2010. Several freedom activists visited his graveyard at Mazar-e-Shuhada in Srinagar and offered Faheha for him and other martyrs. »

Srinagar, February 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the High Court has quashed the draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) slapped on Jamaat-e-Islami chief Dr Abdul Hameed Fayaz saying that the detaining authority did not apply its mind while passing the detention order, and ordered his immediate release.

A Division Bench of Justice Rajnesh Oswal and Justice Sanjay Dhar set aside the single-bench judgment dated June 22, 2019, and noted that JI President Dr Abdul Hameed Fayaz at the time of detention was implicated in two FIRs, one more than a decade old, and the other recently registered at Budgam Police Station. »

Srinagar, February 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, women from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, married to Kashmiri men, have once again staged protest in Srinagar in favour of their demands.

Holding placards, and raising slogans these women who returned to the Valley under Omar Abdullah’s rehabilitation policy in 2010 asked the authorities either provide them with citizenship rights or deport them back to Azad Kashmir. The protesting women along with their children assembled at Press Enclave in Srinagar to press for justice to them on humanitarian grounds. »

Srinagar, February 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, three members of a family were injured in an Indian Army’s landmine blast in Rajouri district.

A boy picked up an object from a field and it exploded when he threw it on the ground injuring three persons — the boy, a girl and an elderly man.

The incident took place in the Nowshera area of Rajouri, officials said. The object was actually a landmine of Indian army. »

Srinagar, February 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has announced to attribute the month of February as “The Month of Maqbool and Release Yasin Malik Campaign”.

The JKLF has said protest rallies, seminars and other programs will be organized and complete shutdown will be observed in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on 9 and 11 February, the martyrdom days of prominent liberation leaders, Muhammad Afzal Guru and Muhammad Maqbool Butt respectively. The announcement has been made by Khawaja Saifudin, the head of JKLF central convening committee, in a statement. »
