Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the posters with pictures of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan surfaced in Srinagar and other areas of the territory on the eve of Kashmir Solidarity Day, which is observed in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan and world over on February 5, every year.

The posters displayed by Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Alliance thanked people as well as the Government of Pakistan for showing solidarity with the Kashmiris on the day. The posters read: “Thank you Pakistan, thank you Imran Khan for effectively raising the Kashmir issue at all global platforms.” The posters reiterated that the Kashmiris would continue their struggle till the achievement of the goal of freedom. The posters also appeared in South Kashmir, Kupwara, Bandipora, Gandarbal and Tral in Pulwama. »

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League, Abdul Ahad Parra has thanked the government and people of Pakistan for supporting the Kashmir cause.

Abdul Ahad Parra addressing a meeting of the party office-bearers in Srinagar said, “The Jammu and Kashmir should be part of Pakistan on the basis of religion, geography, way of life, environment.” He said the hearts of Kashmiris beat with Pakistan. »

Quaid-e-Azam and Kashmir Solidarity Day

It was always in the mind of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah that Pakistan without Kashmir would be incomplete. He made concerted efforts to get Kashmir liberated from India’s illegal occupation because his commitment with the people of Kashmir was indefatigable. Quaid’s vision on Kashmir is unequivocal. It was his foresight that he felt the importance and significance of Kashmir for Pakistanis as well as for Kashmiris. He vociferously condemned the Indian aggression on Kashmir by looking at the miserable conditions of Kashmiris even when there was no one else paying heed to their hues and cries.

Quaid-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah always wanted a peaceful settlement of the dispute but he was also determined to go to any extent to liberate Kashmir from Indian clutches, as his orders to the then Commander-in-Chief of Pakistan Army, General Douglas Gracey, to dispatch Pakistani troops to Srinagar and Jammu speak volume of his boldness on the Kashmir issue. »

JKMC Chairman Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Vice Chairman, Sharifud Din and General Secretary Sheikh Muzaffar, in a statement issued in Srinagar said the 5th February, which is being observed as Kashmir Solidarity Day, has assumed historical importance in reference to the Kashmir resistance movement and reminding the world powers of their obligations regarding Kashmir. »

Islamabad, February 04 (KMS): President Dr Arif Alvi says that Pakistan will continue to extend its support to the Kashmiris in their just struggle for the right to self-determination.

Addressing a ceremony in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day in Islamabad today (Thursday), he urged the United Nations and international community to play its due role in resolving the longstanding dispute.

The President said there are numerous UN resolutions demanding plebiscite in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. »

Jammu, February 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum (JKSPF), Advocate Devinder Singh Behl has urged India to immediately stop indiscriminate firing on the civilian population living along the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Devinder Singh Behl talking to people during his mass awareness campaign in Sundarbani area of Jammu said that the unprovoked firing of the Indian Army had caused loss of life and property to the Kashmiri people. He said Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed territory and should be resolved according to the United Nations resolutions. India has illegally occupied the territory and the Kashmiris have been struggling for securing their right to self-determination, he added. »

Lahore, February 04 (KMS): Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that People of Kashmir and this region deserve peace.

Addressing the officers in Lahore Garrison today (Thursday), he apprised them of the latest developments on Eastern Border, situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan’s firm commitment for a just resolution of Kashmir issue in line with the aspirations of people of Kashmir.

The Army Chief emphasized on greater vigilance and state of preparedness amid new challenges of hybrid war. »
