Kotli (AJK), February 05 (KMS): Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the international community to fulfill its promise of organizing plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir, giving an opportunity to the Kashmiris to decide their fate in light of the UN resolutions.

He was addressing a public rally held in Kotli area of Azad Kashmir in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day, today.

The Prime Minister said that the international community had promised with the people of Kashmir in 1948 under the UN Security Council’s resolutions that they will be given an opportunity to either join India or Pakistan, which still needs fulfillment. »

Srinagar, February 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other Hurriyat leaders and organizations have expressed gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan for their unwavering support to the Kashmiris’ legitimate struggle for securing their right to self-determination.

The APHC Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the people of IIOJK were facing the worst kinds of Indian atrocities. He said that in this grim situation, the APHC is of the considered opinion that expression of solidarity with such zeal and vigor at the national level by Pakistan with the oppressed Kashmiris would surely be a great source of encouragement for them to carry forward the sacred mission of freedom from Indian occupation. He mentioned that the day makes the people of Jammu and Kashmir and its leadership jubilant that they are not alone in this sacred cause. »

Islamabad, February 05 (KMS): President Arif Alvi has reaffirmed Pakistan’s determination to continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for right to self-determination.

Addressing the session of AJK Legislative Assembly in Muzaffarabad, today, , he said, Pakistan sticks to its principled position on Kashmir dispute whose resolution lies only in the UN Security Council resolutions.

The President said, Pakistan has always given peace a chance but regretted that India is taking the matters towards deterioration. »

Islamabad, February 05 (KMS): Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi has approached the President of the United Nations Security Council and the UN Secretary General, apprising them of gross and systematic violations of human rights in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and India’s belligerent and hostile actions against Pakistan.

In his letter addressed to the President of the Security Council and UN Secretary General, he underscored that all unilateral and illegal measures taken by India in the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir in violation of international law including relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council and the 4th Geneva Convention, such as changes in the demographic structure, usurpation of land and farcical “elections”, are null and void. »
