United Nations, February 07 (KMS): Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram has said that India’s actions clearly pose a threat to international peace and security.

Munir Akram in an article published in news portal of the World Body said that the Jammu and Kashmir was one of the oldest unresolved disputes on the agenda of the United Nations Security Council.

He said that under international law, the people of Kashmir had the right to restore their right to self-determination by any means at their disposal, including armed struggle. »

Srinagar, February 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has stressed the need for resolving the Kashmir dispute through result-oriented and sustained dialogue process between Pakistan and India.

Professor Butt addressing people during his visit to Mundji area of Sopore, today, said, “The dialogue process is the only way to resolve the long-pending Kashmir dispute between Pakistan and India.” He said Kashmir is a nuclear flashpoint between the two South Asian countries. »

Srinagar, February 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have welcomed the adoption of a resolution on Kashmir by the New York assembly in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day in the United States.

Srinagar, February 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo has said that 636 first information reports (FIRs) have been registered in different police stations of the territory under the new draconian law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act .

Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the Act allows the occupational authorities to arrest any person without any substantial proof and without the right to bail for at least six months because the international condemnation against the inhuman Public Safety Act was growing so the authorities have created a new window for their oppression to continue without any scrutiny. »

Jammu, February 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum, Advocate Devinder Singh Behl has said that unless the Kashmir dispute is resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and UN resolutions, lasting peace cannot be established in the region.

Washington, February 07 (KMS): The US State Department Spokesperson, Zed Tarar has said that President Joe Biden wants an immediate solution to Kashmir issue.

He said in an interview that President Joe Biden has made it clear that human rights are a fundamental issue for the United States.

He also said that the US understands that Kashmir is a human rights issue. He said that the US wants that mobile service and 4G should be restored in Kashmir immediately.

He said that the new US President has announced that the superpower has returned to the world. The new US president wants all the problems in the world to be solved together. »

Islamabad, February 07 (KMS): President Dr Arif Alvi has said that in order to seek a solution to the Kashmir dispute, Pakistan would have to undo the Indian evils and portray its own true image in the comity of nations.

In a media interview, he said, “We will have to undo the evils of India which labels us for terrorism and opposes us in the Financial Action Task Force.”

The President said today the world’s decisions are tilted towards financial interests instead of morality whether it may be the United Nations or any state.

He suggested that Prime Minister Imran Khan and the leadership from Turkey, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia should take a lead role to revive morality in international relations.

Islamabad, February 07 (KMS): Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed the hope that Kashmir will now head towards freedom as Indian designs to crush the Kashmiri people through unilateral actions of August 5 last year have also failed.

Islamabad, February 07 (KMS): Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on National Security Moeed Yusuf has urged the world to compel India to implement the UN Security Council resolutions on holding a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.

In an interview with Turkish news agency Anadolu, he said India’s unilateral actions in the Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have paved the way for international community to intervene and resolve the longstanding dispute.

Talking about Pakistan’s relations with India, he said we are dealing with a neighbor who is motivated by expansionist ideology and can go to any extent to undercut Pakistan. »

Lahore, February 07 (KMS): The Speaker of Punjab Assembly, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan must be given credit for raising Kashmir dispute at all international platforms over past two and half years.

Addressing a party meeting in Gujrat, he said Imran Khan had proved himself true ambassador of the hapless Kashmiri people who were suffering under the despotic yoke of the Indian government for seven decades, adding that Kashmiri people had been deprived of their right to self-determination. »
