Srinagar, February 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police arrested the Chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights (IFJHR), Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in Srinagar, today.

Muhammad Ahsan Untoo was lodged in Rajbagh Police Station, Srinagar.

The police detained him ahead of the visit of European Union and African envoys to Kashmir. »

Minor girl narrowly escapes rape, murder

Srinagar, February 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, complete strike will be observed on Wednesday, call for which has been given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference.

The strike will be observed on the expected visit of a selected European parliamentary group to the occupied territory, which has been arranged by the Indian authorities. The strike is intended to remind the United Nations, European Union and the other world powers of their obligation to resolve the long-pending Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

A meeting of the APHC Majlis-e-Shoora was held in Srinagar, today, which was presided over by its working vice Chairman Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar. It was said in the meeting that the visit of the selected European parliamentarians to the territory will not serve the Indian designs to hoodwink the international community. The meeting expressed grave concern over the miserable plight of the Hurriyat detainees and warned that if any untoward happened to them, the Kashmiri people would not remain silent spectators. The meeting urged the United Nations and the world community to impress upon India to stop the genocide of the Kashmiri people. »

Srinagar, February 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, family members of illegally detained Zahoor Ahmad Rather staged a protest demonstration in Srinagar said that he is innocent and has nothing to do with any unlawful activities.

The family members who gathered at press enclave in Srinagar strongly rejected the claim of Indian police that he is involved in the killing of BJP workers, last year. The family said that Zahoor, a resident of Islamabad district, was taken away from the rented accommodation in Samba area in Jammu where he was living with his wife and two small children, on midnight of February 13. »

Srinagar, February 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in yet another shocking incident of brutal sexual assault after the rape and murder of eight-year-old Aasifa in Jammu, Indian troops molested and attempted to abduct a nine-year-old girl for rape in Bandipora district.

Indian troops abused the minor girl and dragged her into their vehicle when she along with her sister was working in her garden at Chewa in Ajas area of the district. On raising hue and cry by her sister, the locals rushed to the spot to rescue the minor victim. In the meantime, the troops managed to escape leaving their vehicle with the locals. »

Srinagar, February 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement has sharply criticized India for designing a visit by an EU delegation to Srinagar, calling it another failed attempt to hoodwink the international community.

Mass Movement Information Secretary Shabir Ahmad in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India had earlier arranged an EU delegation’s visit to Kashmir in the supervision of Indian troops to throw dust in the eyes of the world that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is normal. However, he said that now the whole world knows and has acknowledged that India is involved in serious human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said that in fact the Indian Army has been committing grave human rights violations in Kashmir for the last seven decades and international human rights organizations have also mentioned the incidents of massive human rights violations in their reports. »

Islamabad, February 15 (KMS): The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Altaf Ahmed Butt has strongly criticised European Union members for their proposed visit, saying it is a pre-planned visit to distort facts about Kashmir freedom movement.

New Delhi, February 15 (KMS): Former Indian Defence Minister AK Antony has said that the terms of disengagement in both Galwan valley and Pangong Tso areas and the creation of a buffer zone was a surrender of India’s interests.

Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, he said New Delhi is appeasing China by “agreeing to dis-engagment on China’s terms”.

He said, “Please understand the gravity of the situation, disengagement is good but it cannot be at the cost of national security.” He asked the government to disclose its plan to restore status quo ante as on April 2020 along the Line of Actual Control. »
