Image result for CASos kashmirSrinagar, February 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly denounced the wanton killing and arrest of innocent Kashmiri youth by Indian troops and police across the territory.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, expressed serious concern over the large-scale cordon and search operations and arrests being conducted by the Indian forces’ personnel to suppress the Kashmiris’ struggle for securing their right to self-determination. He paid rich tributes to the three youth who were martyred by the troops in Badigam area of Shopian district, yesterday. The spokesman said that the Kashmiri people would take their martyrs’ mission of breaking the shackles of Indian slavery to its logical conclusion. He appealed to the international community to take cognizance of grim situation of IIOJK and impress upon New Delhi to stop its brutalities against the Kashmiris. »

Srinagar, February 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, today.

The troops cordoned off Chitragam village in the district and started door-to-door searches.

A local resident told media that as they woke up, they saw the entire area dotted by the Indian forces’ personnel. “A cluster of houses in Malik Pora locality of the village are being searched,” he said. »

He said that the killing of innocent people by Indian troops was going on unabated in the territory. He said searches in different areas including Shopian and night curfew for the last several days have made people’s lives miserable. »

Jammu, February 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries (JCCI) President, Arun Gupta, has said that no major economic activity has taken place in the territory since the abrogation of Article 370, which granted special status to Kashmir, in August 2019.

Speaking to reporters in Jammu, Arun Gupta said, the business community suffered economic losses due to strict restrictions in the wake of August 5, 2019 events followed by a prolonged coronavirus-induced lockdown. »

Srinagar, February 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a 38-year-old man was found dead under mysterious condition in Handwara town of Kupwara district, today.

The body of the deceased, indentified as Mohammed Amin Tantray, a resident of Khunbal Handwara, was found near in the town.

Meanwhile, a sweeper was injured, today, after an old shell went off while he was cleaning a private school in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. »

Image result for kashmir arestedSrinagar, February 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police arrested six innocent Kashmiri youth from different areas of the territory.

The police arrested two youth identified as Abid Waza and Shabbir Ahmed Gujjar during a cordon and search operation near Papachan Bridge in Bandipora. The youth were labeled by the police as over-ground workers of a mujahid organization.

The police took into custody two other youth, Suhail Ahmed Mir and Owais Manzoor Sofi, from Islamabad district. The police also arrested Mudasir Ahmed in Baghat Barzulla area of Srinagar and Vilayat Aziz Mir from Pulwama.
