Blood and Soil in Narendra Modi's India | The New YorkerSrinagar, March 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, severe anger and resentment has spread all across the territory against the RSS and BJP for filing a petition in the Supreme Court of India against the Holy Quran through one of their pawns, Waseem Rizvi.

Waseem Rizvi has filed a petition in the apex court seeking removal of 26 verses from the Holy Quran claiming that these were inciting violence. The Muslim leaders and organizations including those associated with Shia and Sunni schools of thought across the world, India and occupied Kashmir have disowned Waseem Rizvi saying that his pernicious thoughts had no linkage with any sect of the Muslims. Most of them maintained that on the instance of communal Hindu organizations like RSS and BJP, Waseem Rizvi was inciting sectarian discord among the Muslims and his remarks were sacrilegious.

It has come to fore that Wseem Rizvi has produced the Bollywood film, Ram Ki Janambhoomi and is a supporter of BJP and Narendra Modi. »

Srinagar, March 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that the incessant genocide, and the frequent use of draconian laws to incarcerate the innocent people, especially youth, have rendered the oppressed people of the territory vulnerable to a situation worst than the Apartheid in the history of the mankind.

The APHC Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar, in a statement issued in Srinagar said, it is a matter of grave concern that the people of the territory have been left to the mercy of over one million Indian forces’ personnel, equipped with sophisticated and lethal weapons to deal with the common masses with impunity. »

Islamabad, March 13 (KMS): The Kashmir Institute of International Relations, (KIIR) in collaboration with World Muslim Congress, organized a webinar on the sidelines of the 46th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.

The webinar titled “Absence of fair trial for political prisoners, a case study Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir” was addressed by international human rights and humanitarian law experts, academicians and Kashmiri activists. »

Islamabad, March 13 (KMS): A petition filed in the Supreme Court of India by the former chairman of the Shia Central Board of Waqf in Uttar Pradesh has attracted widespread anger and resentment against him all across India and in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In the petition Waseem Rizvi has appealed to the court to remove 26 verses from the Quran as they were allegedly inciting violence.

The Shia organizations across the world, India and occupied Kashmir have disowned Waseem Rizvi saying that his pernicious thoughts had no linkage with the Shia theology and Rizvi was acting to incite sectarian discord among the Muslims and his remarks were sacrilegious. »

Srinagar, March 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social and Justice League (JKYSJL) visited the residences of Bijbehra martyrs and expressed sympathies with their families.

The delegation was led by party Chairman, Ahmad Malik and was accompanied by General Secretary, Sameena Bano and other party members.

Ahmad Malik and Sameena Bano paid rich tributes to the martyred youth and said that the precious lives and blood given by martyrs would not be allowed to go waste. »

The youth were martyred during a cordon and search operation launched by the troops in Kandipora area of Islamabad district on Thursday.

The JKPL General Secretary, Naseer-ul-Islam, led the delegation that also comprised Molvi Amir, Javaid Ahmed and Fayaz Ahmed. »

Srinagar, March 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, religious scholars and pro-freedom leaders and organizations have strongly denounced the former Chairman of Central Shia Waqf Board in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Waseem Rizvi, for filing a petition in the Supreme Court of India seeking removal of 26 verses from the Holy Quran.

The Grand Mufti of IIOJK, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, in a statement issued in Srinagar said Waseem Rizvi’s assertions are totally blasphemous, unacceptable and that he should be arrested immediately. »

Srinagar, March 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two Indian special police officers (SPOs) of Indian police were injured in an attack in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, unidentified persons lobbed a grenade on a police post near Bus Stand in Sopore area of the district. Two SPOs received injuries in the attack. They have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. »
