Islamabad, March 18 (KMS): Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said Pakistan is ready to resolve all outstanding disputes with its neighbors through dialogue in a dignified and peaceful manner.

He was addressing Islamabad Security Dialogue in the federal capital on Thursday.

The Army Chief however stressed that this choice is deliberate and based on rationality, and not as a result of any pressure.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa said it is time that synergies are created in South Asia through connectivity, peaceful coexistence and resource sharing to fight hunger, illiteracy and disease instead of fighting each other. »

Islamabad, March 18 (KMS): Pakistan Day resolution on March 23, 1940 is the day when Muslims of the sub-continent decided to start a journey to create a separate homeland as envisioned by the great poet and philosopher, Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said that Allama Muhammad Iqbal in his famous Allahbad address of 1930 had presented an idea that Islam has its own social and economic system and to implement it, a political entity was required. »

Srinagar, March 18 (KMS): Protest broke out at the Wagah border on the Indian side after dozens of Kashmiris, including students and travelers, were barred by the Indian authorities from visiting Pakistan despite possessing all travel and other legal documents.

Hundreds of people, including Kashmiris, had converged near the Wagah on Tuesday to cross over to Pakistan on visa. However, dozens of Kashmiris, including students, travellers and elderly who were scheduled to visit to study or meet their relatives in Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir were stopped and disallowed by the Indian authorities from crossing over. The travelers held demonstration against the action of the Indian authorities. »

Srinagar, March 18 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has stressed that Kashmir being the main dispute between Pakistan and India needs to be resolved through a sustained dialogue process between the two neighboring countries.

Professor Butt while talking to people during his visit to Rafiabad in Sopore said that time has come to address the Kashmir dispute, once and for all. He said that the lingering dispute between Pakistan and India is the only impediment to peace, tranquility and development in the South Asian region. »

Srinagar, March 18 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have booked the illegally detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader, Zahoor Ahmed Butt, under black law, Public Safety Act (PSA), for the second time.

Zahoor Ahmed Butt who was already under PSA detention at Mattan sub-jail in Islamabad district was once again booked by the occupation authorities under the draconian law and was shifted to Bhaderwah jail in Jammu region. »

Islamabad, March 18 (KMS): Kashmiri delegation while virtually attending the 46 session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, has informed the Council that the journalists who report with honesty and professional integrity are hounded by the occupation authorities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Taking part in the debate held under the agenda Item 5 the representative of World Muslim Congress (WMC), Altaf Hussain Wani highlighted the nefarious designs of India in IIOJK and said that journalists who report with honesty and professional integrity face state repression in the territory. »

Srinagar, March 18 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami (TWI) has condemned the India’s recent worst state terrorism in Shopian district.

The TWI in a meeting held in Srinagar with its chairman, Khadim Hussain in chair said that India had crossed all the limits of cruelties in the territory. It added that the use of brute force on innocent Kashmiris by Indian troops was part of the Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian regime.

The participants of the meeting deplored that the troops were burning the residential houses of the Kashmiris by using highly inflammable chemicals, which was condemnable. »

Muzaffarabad, March 18 (KMS): Hurriyat activist, hailing from Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Abdullah, commonly known as Irshad, passed away due to cardiac arrest in Bagh district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Abdullah had migrated to Azad Jammu and Kashmir in 1990 due to Indian atrocities, leaving his five children and spouse in IIOJK.

In 2019, his wife died in the Poonch district of the occupied territory.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Harriet Conference Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahamad Gulzar expressed his heartfelt condolences with the grief stricken family of Abdullah Irshad who breathed his last away from his family.

He also condoled the demise of Abdul Rashid Wani, the father-in-law of Ishtiaq Hameed. He prayed Allah to forgive the departed souls and bless them high place in the heaven and grant patience to the bereaved families.

Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League at a meeting presided over by its acting Chairman Abdul Ahad Parra expressed condolence with Ishtiaq Hameed Wani over the death of his father-in-law Abdul Rasheed Wani. The meeting also condoled the demise of Abdullah Irshad.

Srinagar, March 18 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah has said that he doesn’t see Assembly elections taking place in 2021 as Delimitation Commission has been given one year extension and who knows whether the commission would get more extension in future.

Omar Abdullah speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a party function at Damhaal Hanjpora in Kulgam, today, said that his priority was not elections but to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. »

Srinagar, March 18 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Anjuman Sharie Shian President Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has said that sacrilegious comments against the Holy Quran is part of the nefarious agenda of enemies of Islam.

Addressing a function on Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and the Holy Quran at Hassanabad in Badgam, he stressed that the dignity of Quran could not be affected by propagating such atheistic ideologies. He said this in reference to the blasphemous remarks made by an Indian citizen, Waseem Rizvi, against the Holy Quran. Moosvi pointed out that the propagandists of misleading notions have always been backed by anti-Islam forces. However, the Muslims through their strong belief and unity have always thwarted such conspiracies, he added. »
