APHC concerned about condition of detainees

Srinagar, March 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, people held massive rallies and demonstrations in Srinagar and other areas of the territory against the sacrilegious act of RSS pawn, Waseem Rizvi, and India’s illegal occupation.

Hundreds of people took part in a big protest rally organized by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference in Anchar Soura area of Srinagar after Friday prayers, today. The rally was led by Tehreek-e-Muzahamat leaders, Reyaz Ahmed and Aijaz Ahmed. Big demonstrations and rallies were also held in other areas of Srinagar and in Budgam, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Sopore, Bandipora, Kupwara, Islamabad, Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama and other parts of the occupied territory. The protesters raised high-pitched pro-Islam, pro-freedom and anti-India slogans. They also demanded hanging of blasphemer Wasim Rizvi. »

Srinagar, March 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Harriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed its deep concern over the deteriorating health condition of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders languishing in different jails of the territory and India.

The APHC Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar paid rich tribute to the unwavering commitment of the detainees towards the ongoing liberation struggle. He said that the Indian hegemony and fascism had, time and again, tested the patience and determination of the jailed leadership but had utterly failed to deter them from leading the freedom movement. »

Altaf Hussain Wani, highlighting the plight of people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir said, “The people of Kashmir were promised the right to self-determination by the United Nations Security Council. However, the denial of this right by India has led to a regime of human rights violations.” »

Islamabad, March 19 (KMS): India is fueling its hate for Pakistan into the hearts and minds of Bangladeshi masses through reigniting twisted and fabricated ills of 1971.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said that it was an established fact that India played its nefarious role in the dismemberment of Pakistan in 1971 as Indian role in arming, training and instigating the Mukti Bahini was the greatest factor in the creation of Bangladesh.

The report pointed out that even Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has admitted that there had been a conspiracy to divide Pakistan. Modi while speaking at a ceremony during his visit to Bangladesh in June 2015 said that the establishment of Bangladesh was a desire of every Indian and that’s why India’s forces fought along with the Mukti Bahini, thus creating a new country. »

Srinagar, March 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have welcomed the remarks of Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan, and Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, in a conference in Islamabad.

Imran Khan and General Qamar Javed Bajwa in their addresses to the two-day Islamabad Security Dialogue in Islamabad called for peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute. »

Jammu, March 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement (JKFM), Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Peace Foundation (JKPPPF), Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Civil Society (JKPPCS), Jammu and Kashmir Sirat Conference (JKSC), and Jammu and Kashmir Youth Forum for Peace (JKYFP), have condemned the surge in Indian state terrorism in the territory.

JKFM Chairman Muhammad Sharif Sartaj, JKPPPF Chairman Muhammad Hanif Kalis, JKPPCS Chairman Maulana Amir Muhammad Shamsi, JKSC Chairman Maulana Abdul Qayyum Matoo, and JKYFP Chairman, Malik Mohammad Irshad, in a joint statement issued in Jammu said that the Indian Army was consistently targeting Kashmiri youth and killing them in fake encounters and destroying houses with explosives and chemicals materials during cordon and search operations in the territory. »

New Delhi, March 19 (KMS): Delhi High Court, today, refused to grant a stay on summons issued by India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) to the former Chief Minister of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti, on a money laundering case against her.

A  division bench of Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice Jasmeet Singh of the Delhi High Court refused to grant a stay on the ED summons to Mehbooba Mufti.

She was represented by Senior Advocate, Nitya Ramakrishnan, whereas Solicitor General, Tushar Mehta, along with others appeared for the Indian state and ED. »

Srinagar, March 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred 263 Kashmiris in last year (2020).

According to a report released by Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, 05 women and 11 young boys were among 263 Kashmiris martyred by the troops in 2020. Twenty four youth were killed in custody and fake encounters.

The KMS released the report in response to the figures presented by newly appointed Director General of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Kuldiep Singh. During a briefing to the media in New Delhi ahead of Indian paramilitary force’s 82nd anniversary, Kuldiep Singh claimed that a total of 215 Kashmiris were killed by Indian troops in 2020. He also stated that 11 Kashmiris have been killed this year so far. »

New Delhi, March 19 (KMS): More than two crore children in India are facing extremely high water vulnerability, says an analysis by UNICEF.

Extreme water vulnerability is the combination of the highest levels of physical water scarcity risks and lowest levels of drinking water service that affects a given population (surface water, unimproved or limited water service), it said.

The analysis, part of the water security for all initiative, identifies areas where physical water scarcity risks overlap with poor water service levels. »

They have suffered human rights abuses under the impunity of the suffocating Indian military presence in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). According to statistics from Jammu and Kashmir state commission from women, a now defunct government institution is established to protect women and children rights to ensure quick prosecutions. Cases of domestic violence and general violence have been rising more than three thousand a year during the previous clampdowns in 2016 and 2017. »
