Srinagar, March 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that India is using cheap tactics to force the Hurriyat leaders and activists to surrender their just cause of freedom from the Indian yoke.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said that the Modi government was using its judiciary and investigating agencies to harass and intimidate the Hurriyat leaders and their families. He said that on one hand, Indian courts were illegally summoning the people associated with the freedom movement while on the other, Indian National Investigation Agency was confiscating the property of the pro-freedom people. He maintained that such repressive measures cannot subdue the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people and they will continue their struggle till complete success. »

New Delhi, March 20 (KMS): A Delhi court has taken cognizance of a fresh supplementary charge-sheet filed against Dr Bilquis Shah, the wife of illegally detained senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, in false case registered 18 years ago.

Additional Sessions Judge, Dharmendra Rana of the Patiala House Court, issued summons against Dr Bilquis Shah in a false money laundering case filed in 2005.

In the charge sheet filed by ED’s special public prosecutors N.K. Matta and Rajeev Awasthi, the probe agency said that Dr Bilquis Shah, along with Shabbir Shah had received Rs 2.08 crore from Aslam Wani. »

Brussels, March 20 (KMS): The Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU), Ali Raza Syed has lauded a wise stance of chair of European Parliament Sub-committee for criticising India over worse situation of human rights in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and rights of the minorities and other oppressed sections of masses in India.

Maria Arena, chair of the EU’s parliament sub committee for Human rights, addressing a recent online session of the parliament expressed her grave concerns over the worse situation of human rights in IIOJK and rights of the minorities in India. »

Srinagar, March 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, leader of the National Conference and member of the Indian Parliament, Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi, has said that the Indian government should accept that the August 5, 2019 move was a big mistake, which has achieved nothing except destruction.

Hasnain Masoodi in his address to Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian parliament, said that the unconstitutional decisions of August 5 had pushed the Jammu and Kashmir towards bureaucracy , ended the people-friendly approach and perpetuated the colonial mentality. »

Srinagar, March 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

The troops cordoned off Kohistan Colony in Safapora area of the district late last night and launched house-to-house searches. The troops have sealed all entry and exit points of the area. The operation continued till last reports came in. »

Kargil, March 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, thousands of people staged protest demonstrations in Kargil and other areas of the territory against the RSS pawn Waseem Rizvi over his sacrilegious act.

Waseem Rizvi has filed a petition in the Supreme Court of India for the removal of 26 verses from the Holy Quran claiming that they incite violence.

Call for protest in Kargil was given by Anjuman Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh. Thousands of people staged a protest in Kargil town against Waseem Rizvi. The protest was led by President Anjuman Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh, Sheikh Nazir Mehdi. »
